Payton was awful with his scheme and play calling!!
Brees with his constant checks at line was just as bad.

People were all high up on Brees earlier this morning.

1 game doesn't change anything.

People are so emotional

I disagree.

He did not play well today, but, the Saints, as a team, are not a good playoff team. They are Playoff Choke Artists and that includes Brees.

Cook and T. Hill and Kamara >>> #2 receiver.

The Pats didnt have the weapons we've had the last 3 seasons and they went to 3 straight Super Bowls

Brees is not the problem. Having the oline play like shite did not help.

Playoffs are a different animal entirely.

Last season with Ingram and Kamara playing beastly, we were wet. This season we morphed into a strictly passing team again. Brees can't deliver in playoffs with his arm alike anymore. Truth is we wouldn't have beaten Philly two years back. Last year we should have won it all. But it was because of a diverse offense and defense playing stellar.

Now both have disappeared: defense (D-Line depth was suppose to be a difference; corners and safeties have regressed for 2 years straight) and running game plating physical up front.

Brees wasn't winning a title alone and won't. That is why the window has closed with this group. Best shot was last season and year before. Minnesota was the better team today and won. With freaking Cousins, at home.

Peyton should have made the call and put in a Taysom to manage the 4th q. Would be going to Green Bay had he.

Brees’ blocking, tackling, and working to get open was horrible today.

He had 2 seconds to throw the entire game.

Brees didn’t have a great game, but he was far from the problem today.

Brees is king of the regular season stat-mongering. One game changes everything if we're talking about the playoffs. This was a home game. There was literally no excuse to turn in what is arguably the worst post-season performance of his career.

Keeping Brees does nothing more than appease the fanbase and let him pad more stats. The franchise needs to move in another direction.

He didn't fare well because his OL got owned by a very clever move the Viking DC came up with.
Besides his fumble was due to that thumb injury that he was "over"
