It doesn't even have to be about the flag, honestly.

This is not difficult to understand, and I don't get the fervor over kneeling.

When I have a meeting with another organization, I don't start the call off with my political opinions or protests. That isn't the place for such an act.

And when your position is eve more public, you have even more of a responsibility to not disrupt the proceedings, there are too many factors, opinions, feelings in play.

This isn't rocket science.

You keep referencing the cops yet you're not talking about civilians that have been harassed and even killed during these same riots... Why is that?

I literally just gave you my thoughts on George Floyd lol. Must take a lot of stamina to keep moving those goalposts around. I was actually trying to have a legit convo.

The headline certainly captures one part of the interview. And if you listen to his full statement he goes on to say how we can all be unified in being better and being a part of the solution - but that headline doesn't quite portray that does it?

And isn't this the same guy who donated $5M to the state and has rebuilt what 2 schools now in NOLA?

Drew can have his own personal opinion on the matter but it also shows a lack of awareness to the current situation

Your point in the context of Drew Brees respecting him and not wanting to disrespect the symbol of what he fought for.

What a time we live in when respecting the flag is considered a political opinion or an opinion at all for that matter.

it's different if he said he doesn't agree with kneeling but understood why some chose to do it. Instead he said it's never right and talked about the military.

He said he would never do anything to disrespect the flag. He didn't say kneeling was never right. Context matters. Stop vilifying people and putting words in their mouth.

We cannot have good communication with each other if we vilify each other for not having the same thought patterns.

It’s not even that klinger, I gave him ample opportunity to present me with something, ANYTHING to show me that trump was racist. But he don’t even want to try..

He just wants to scream and holler about ‘racists’ without having any type of dialogue about it.

I bet I’d blow his mind if I showed him that an unarmed black man is five times more likely to get struck by lightning than to be murdered by a white cop, his head would explode.

But we ain’t ready for that conversation yet

More black men were killed by constipation last year than the police.

jesus, and i'm sure maybe a couple of the "police" were black. So we're down to less than 18 deaths compared to 8708 AA on AA homicides.

Really is frustrating when you think about the irony of the whole situation

Wait, I never know when you’re serious or not
