Definitely will be a situation where you’ll find out quickly if he’s learned from his mistakes. As has been pointed out a number of times, his history sort of mirrors DAs (except DA had some high ranked defenses). It appears DA has not learned; and while the records are better in NOLA than Oak; the onfield play does not appear to be.

Can Morris correct whatever kept him from being successful the first time around? The support he appears to have from players & other coaches makes you think he should have everything he needs to prove it.

I only say should because it appears Blank may be a meddler and could force some decisions Morris may disagree with on him

Lets be clear. Morris is a below average head coach just like DA.
Can they be better? Who the f@ck knows

Agreed I’m curious to see who’s next after Zac Robinson gets a HC job. Will he be DA and not cut bait from terrible coaching with players who don’t seem to respect him or will he be Dan Campbell and have an awesome coaching staff with players willing to run through the wall for him?

Yup. You nailed it. So Mad, you are comparing Morris to O. Shitty coach but with good coordinators he will be fine? You see how that turned out long term. Morris will be a complete fricking train wreck and I love it. Living in ATL every Falcon fan I know absolutely hates the hire.

I live in ATL and everyone I know loves the hire (even on the news and radio). I’m really not sure where you’re going with this? I said he’s an average to solid coach depending on if he can maintain a good coaching staff. I don’t know how good he will consistently be but it seems like the NFL coaching circles and players love him.

How do you know he was our 1st choice?

Good of Atlanta to get behind their coach/team and be optimistic about the future instead of crying about everything like a toddler.

Why do you think that is?

Yeah let’s be clear I’m not rooting for the guy (frick him honestly). It will be a cold day in hell before I root for the falcons. I’m just being honest about the situation.

I know people that work at 680, and am friends with them. No one in the industry is hot on the hire.

Why not just hire robinson as HC if that's the thinking?

Dennis Allen...

It's a great leap from being a great coordinator to being a good HC.

I have a deep fear the Daniels will end up in Atlanta. I know everyone is saying Williams #1 and Daniels #2 in the draft but it seem to never go the way it's predicted. QB's slip always.

Thre are bad HCs yes but if you don`t have a good to great
QB in the NFL you will fail .Peyton was a good HC with a
HOL QB who`s coaching sucked in the playoffs. If you don`t have a QB 8,9 wins a year is where you will be.
