Brady calls a WR Screen on Third and 10? Nope not Head Coach Material

Why a WR screen in third down late in the fourth? If you know Spags will blitz, then you have to have a hot route that can get a first down! This is not college football. Throw to the sticks!!!!

It was all out blitz. I’m guessing Allen checked to that at the line.

Have to know blitz was coming. Have toga e a hot route beyond the line of scrimmage. Just a bad game by the Billss coaching staff. Also why did Brady keep calling QB sneak when it wasn’t working? Sorry, not a Brady fan.

I would to see some of the people on here call plays in a real game. Yes play callers make bad calls from time to time. We forget the guys on the other side calling plays are professionals too. Some times in not a bad play call just poorly executed. Or just a good play call ,or great execution on the other side.

That’s the best call against a cover 0 blitz. WR doesn’t slip and they may get the first.

It's 4 down territory. A screen gives you an automatic 5 or 6 yards with a chance for the WR to make a play to gain a 1st. Throwing 10+ yards downfield against an all out blitz will more than likely result in a 4th and 10 or worse.
You generally want to avoid 4th and long with the game on the line. Pretty simple.
