The sack on Jenkins:

Malcolm Jenkins: "You don't practice, you don't play around here", when asked if Smith could play this week.

Which is weird, because Kromer indicated that Smith would play if a ruling came down.

not sure when Will Smith was officially banned from the facility, but he has been practicing and playing in the preseason, and you hav to believe a heavy part of film study was dedicated to the REdskins. im sure he isnt that far behind

I really hope the Coaches seek legal action and put a full court press on the NFL.

I wish they would, but I have a strong feeling that they won't.

The Mackel reporter for WDSU Channel 6 said the coaches and Loomis are planning to file a suit in court this afternoon.

The roof is going to blow off the stadium this week. Not going to be able to hear anything the commentators say.

Well Federal Court closes in like 13 minutes.

Obviously its the Feds so its electronic filing, so they could do it at any time they want.

Lets wait and see what Goodell rules and what evidence he has. If he doesn't show the evidence, then I think the coaches seek legal action.

Some recent tweets:

quote:

RT @SportsLawGuy: Interesting spot for NFL. RG can simply maintain same penalties, saying discipline was solely for agreement-to-injure plan

quote:

Another point -- today's ruling was not a court decision but a product of the dispute resolution process that the NFL and NFLPA agreed to.

quote:

To sum up: Panel held this involved "conduct detrimental" & illegal payments. Commish only has power to punish for conduct detrimental.

quote:

this decision is not the slam dunk victory it appears to be....goodell still has the power to suspend ...all it really did was buy time

quote:

To sum up all these perspectives, dont be surprised if #NFL still maintains its punishment decisions after all.
