I'm told the #Bengals communicated this morning, & Saints secondary coach Aaron Glenn has now been informed, that Cincinnati would like to follow through on interest to now interview Glenn for their vacant defensive coordinator position, per source.

yeah I don't get why you'd block a guy from getting promoted unless he's expressed to you that he isn't interested in that other job

That could very well be it in this case. Going to Cincinnati with their lack of talent on D isn’t exactly an ideal destination. He could stay here for another year or two to get promoted within or go somewhere else that isn’t a dumpster fire on defense.
