I remember when he intentionally hurt Reggie Bush, and bragged about putting some hot sauce on his ankle. But the NFL was more worried about ‘bountygate’. Good times.

As a late teen and early adult watching ESPN with Stuart Scott, Kenny Mayne, Dan Patrick, and Rich Eisen I can say ESPN will never be that good again.

Winston winning MVP is plausible considering how stacked our receiving core is. Winston put up big numbers in Tampa. He just needs to keep the interceptions down. He’s obviously not the favorite to win it but it could definitely happen.

This team is a TE away from having the best offense in the league.

Bart Scott further proves that ex players are crappy analyst’s.

Why wouldn’t they be?
It’s not an outrageous claim.

The line is really good. The receivers are stacked. Kamara is crazy explosive. If Jameis doesn’t throw a ton of interceptions, I don’t see why this team can’t be a top flight offense.

Additionally, I look for the defense to create quite a few turnovers this year. That’ll give the offense even more chances.

I think people are basing their perception of the Saints too much on last year, when EVERYONE got hurt. We started some guy named Trevor, (not the good Trevor) and Trequan Smith was the last man standing at WR.

AND WE STILL ALMOST MADE THE PLAYOFFS.

“The best offense in the league” and “top flight offense” are not the same thing. Which is your claim?

Who said I made a claim. I’m not an ESPN analyst. Not trying to “hot take” my way through life. I just think the Saints have a chance to be really good on both sides of the ball this year. And Jameis has the talent to be a big part of that.

ETA: just realized you were referring to that guy’s statement about best offense in the league. Who knows? I doubt it, but I’d stack Kamara up against any RB. The receiver group is top level. It may not be likely, but it’s certainly possible.
