Look, you're talking to an attorney that has seen literally hundreds of accident videos. That is a shite video that does not AFFIRMATIVELY show enough.
I have not been arguing that Smith did not hit Hayes. I'm simply arguing that the video doesn't show enough to VERIFY it.
Its just not clear. Anyone saying otherwise is inferring based on what they think they see. A good attorney (not me) would tear that video apart.
Give me a break dude. Did you even watch the video? The fricking hummer is pushed forward

I just don't think this was a justified action on Hayes' part.
I think Hayes is guilty of second degree or manslaughter.

Unless there was a camera on the bumper that got smashed from the other vehicle, there is nothing you are going to see to convince you of a hit.
No possible other view a local camera has is going to convince you
That's true. What I think and what is fact are two different things.

As I've said again and again and again: There is no VERIFIABLE impact. It is not clear. Anyone arguing otherwise is seeing guessing.
dude we are not in court. It's ok to take your suit off. You know there was contact.

If someone claimed you hit something, you wouldn't check for damage?

Whole lot for people in this thread for starters.
When an article comes out with surveillance footage saying the deceased may have been the aggressor due to a possible hit and run, you don't think it's prudent to inspect for damage?

Do you have anything to support that it was PUSHED forward? Are you an accident reconstructionist?
Anyway, I'll bow out of this. I'm not talking about the H&R anymore. It isn't relevant.
I want to know:
1) If the gun was in a compartment in the vehicle and not on Smith
2) If his wife was indeed shot first outside the vehicle.
The fact that we know Smith was shot in the back is already pretty bad for Hayes.

Smiths lawyer said they drove off because they "looked and saw no damage" Why were they even looking if contact hadnt been made? At that point, no claims were made by a single soul you moron

I guess that big long thread yesterday where the article did exactly that was just all in my head.

I agree. If they go for murder he will likely get off. If they go for manslaughter he should be convicted

I don't know anything.
I THINK there was an extremely small amount of impact. I just don't know it.
And neither do you.

That latest vine coming out, showing debris, is kind of damnning on the "he didn't hit Hayes" argument.

Ok, you;re talking about Smith getting out and doing that. I've checked for damage after close calls. I highly doubt I'm the only person on the planet to do that too.

Nobody can tell if there was impact from that video.
