At what point do you say Allen just can’t Head Coach?

4-12 following an 8-8 season without him.

0-4 and fired.
7-10 after 9-8 with him as DC.

Many said that after his stint with the Raiders. We were literally the only team that would hire him again to be a head coach.

The Broncos had balls and fired their HC 15 games into his year one. Got to respect their willingness to pull the trigger when they realized it wasn’t working and to go and aggressively pursue SP.

I haven't watched the NFL since 2019, not a quarter. But, I knew back then that Allen was a loser. What a crappy hire. Sorry to yall that still give a modicum of care to that league.

I see him getting fired next year. It will be year 3 of his 4yr contract probably mid season firing. It will be time to rebuild let Carr go and older players go time for total rebuild.

He was a good defensive coordinator but as a head coach, I see no upside to him.
I only hope we don't cling to him for very long and continue spiraling to depths we've only known in the early days of Sainthood.

Before he was given the head coaching job here. That's all that matters to me. The people here who hired him didn't pay attention to his time with the Raiders. Same with the people who thought Derek Carr would be a winning QB here. Carr threw for a lot of yards, most of them in garbage time in losses in an NFL where passing yards are cheap.
Who looks at Allen and Carr and says "Hey, Mrs. B, I have a great idea. Let's relive the 2014 Raiders season."?
