Nobody who is familiar with the actual data sets from the games would say otherwise. Do you think Olave is a big play guy or something?
He doesn't get any YAC (just 217 yards after catch on 72 receptions last year) or get targeted in the red zone (11 on the year). He's a chain mover - catches the ball past the marker more often than not but he's not busting out 70 yarders on the reg. Sorry the actual data hurts your perception of Olave.

He was 10th in yards per route run and 21st in yards per reception at 14.5.
Those numbers will go up this year.

Which means what when he doesn't make plays with the ball in his hands consistently and doesn't get high value redzone targets?
It means he gets past the marker, like I said. Moves the chains.

“Chain movers” aren’t top 10 in total air yards (1,500+ yards) or 4th in the NFL in total deep targets (29). He did that with Andy Dalton too.

This is an interesting debate, but the fact that he doesn't get YAC (210 yds) and was still 15th in yards per catch (14.5 ypc) make him more of a deep threat than a "chain mover"? Then again, the other side of that coin would be, don't deep threats typically move the chains when they make catches.
As stated, he was 15th in ypc, and of those 15 players Olave had more YAC than 5 of them:
Gabe Davis - 2nd in ypc, 146 yac
Corey Davis - 4th in ypc, 109 yac
Marquez Valdes-Scantling - 5th in ypc, 149 yac
George Pickens - 8th in ypc, 104 yac
Jahan Dotson - 10th in ypc, 137 yac
As stated, he was 15th in ypc, and of those 15 players Olave had more YAC than 5 of them:

What was prime Michael Thomas? Don’t remember him busting a whole lot of 70-yarders. The year he won OPOY, his long was 49 yards. And he “only” averaged 11.6 yards/catch. Had 9 TDs. Was he not a WR1 that year?
In fact, his career high in y/c was 12.4 in his rookie year, and he’s only had 1 70 yard reception in his entire career. His season long receptions since his rookie year are 46, 43, 72, 49, 24, and 21. And here are his yearly y/c averages: 12.4, 12, 11.2, 11.6, 11, 10.7. Never caught more than 9 TD passes either. “Only” 9 TDs out of 149 catches in his NFL Offensive Player of the Year season. Again, was he not a WR1 that year? By your definition, was he ever? Seems like a lot of chain-moving to me.
Just for reference, Olave averaged 14.5 yards/catch last year with a long of 53. On 72 receptions. So that 53 yard reception would have been the longest of any year of MT’s career save 1. And was 4 yards longer than MT’s long in his OPOY season when he literally had twice as many catches.
And maybe since Olave gained about 10 pounds and his primary focus over the offseason was working to be able to come down with balls and finish contested catches down the field, that a 23-year-old WR with Derek Carr’s arm throwing to him instead of Andy Dalton’s, may actually be able to get better in his 2nd season where the overwhelming train of thought is when most players make their biggest jumps?
