Anyone else already decide theyre taking the day off after the Super Bowl?

Debating whether or not to put in the request now. Afraid Im going to jinx it by doing it now but I know if we make it to the SB Im going to the FQ to watch the game and wouldnt be worth a damn on Monday.

I've taken off the Mondays after NFCCG and Super Bowl. If your jinx knocks us out before then I'll either fish/hunt or just go to work and save the vacation days.

It was an awesome experience though being in the Quarter after the NFCCG and SB in 2010. Will never forget second lining down Bourbon St and celebrating and the quarter being overrun by locals and who dats rather than tourists! Praying we get to do it all over again year

For those that worked downtown in 2010 wasn’t the city pretty much shut down the day after the SB anyway?

I think I'd rather, if anything, take the day of a parade off, if it comes to that. Just because traffic is going to be stupid that day.
I do know a few people that have already booked hotel rooms in the FG for super bowl night.

I'd say that you'd want to try and get Monday and Tuesday off. They had the SB parade on Tuesday and it was a MASSIVE influx of folks trying to get into the city.
