Any future local "owner-ship team" on the horizon for the Saints ?

Things seem to be past the stagnant point and headed for an inevitable decline, with the current cast of characters in charge. Maybe the Manning clan ?????

With any luck you'll be able to get in contact with some of our very own OT ballers, pulling them away from their 12 figure gas/oil jobs in Houston and their OT 10 goddess and convince them to pitch in and buy the team

Peyton Manning’s net worth is $191 million. Our Peyton Manning net worth figures factor in hard data on salary and bonuses, plus endorsement estimates. Estimated taxes, expenses and investment income also helped build our Peyton Manning net worth total.
Peyton's net woth
So No.

Thinking about the whole clan and close "associates" at 51% and and a high roller $ man.
Maybe go "public" and sell shares for the balance ala Packers !

Question, will Eli be a part owner as well while he plays for the Giants? Thx

Can't go public. NFL won't allow it.

If drew rapes us a few more years he could probably afford to buy the team. Or if you fricks would just buy some more sandwiches. The man has to feed his family.

How is Drew raping the team? If you think his salary is crippling the team, then you are clueless.

They couldn't afford 1% of the team.

Lighten up Francis, it was a joke. Drew's salary is the least of this team's concerns.

The largest stakeholder has to have at least 30%.

OK....then WHO, in your exalted opinion would ?
Or, shall just all be resigned to lose the Saints to Vegas ??

Don't you feel comfortable in the very qualified hands of Gayle Benson deferring all power to Mickey?
Posted on 1/2/17 at 8:09 pm to tickfawtiger
this is the elephant in the room. there's no one in the state wth enough money to get this done and Gayle has no children and is no spring chicken.

BINGO...that's why I bring it up ! IDEAS...even the many dumbass comments are welcome...lol
Was not aware of the 30% thing or that the NFL would not allow any public "ownership", sure seems rather two faced of them considering all the "public money" tied into stadiums and government subsidies !
Maybe it's time for congress to take a closer look at all the "advantages" doled out to the owners !

The team is going into a trust and is never leaving NOLA. It will he an asset owned by a very prominent organization in NOLA.
