Katengall made a point about how people are mad at Thomas and think he doesn't want to play here but are in love with Chauncey, who actually expressed to the team he didn't want to be here anymore.

I'm not pissed off at Mike.
I've just got use to him missing a lot of time over the couple of seasons.
He played well this season when he was out there except that Carolina game before he got hurt which just sucked in general for the offense.
I didn't want to lose Chauncey because whatever happened to the idea that you can never have enough DB's? But yeah I can remember the part how he wasn't talking to coaches during training camp. You can't have that.

Stupid take. He wanted to get paid, saints weren’t obliging so of course he wanted to go.
He was underpaid after starting and performing well for us for years then watched two safeties brought in and get their bag. Right or wrong, I can see his point, but it’s business.

If this is true, then the Saints organization is incredibly inept by not communicating the situation with Thomas' injury along the way.
Thomas bears responsibility here too.
