Mickey Loomis came out again today defending him. Blamed it on the injuries as to why we aren't winning. Then said,"great organizations go beyond the results, meaning record, to find the root cause". I'm sorry but didnt New England fire Belicheck after they were no longer in the playoffs or super bowl conversation. It just goes to show you Mickey isn't getting fired anytime soon also if you make dumb statements like that.

Mickey isn’t getting fired period. I can’t think of another organization that has such a setup where a non family member is in such a position of power.

Can there be no outside influence? Even just an acquaintance of Gayle's suggesting a different direction might be best? Her grand kids? Something!!

Loomis will not fire him midseason. He'd have to do something illegal for that to happen.

There is NO WAY Loomis fires him during the season.

ZERO

All we can hope for is a 4 or 5 win season and MAYBE Loomis fires him in the offseason.

If the Saints win 7, 8, or (god forbid) 9 games, I GUARANTEE YOU Loomis will say the team is ‘heading in the right direction’ and Allen will be back in 2025.

Of course there is. Don't go to the games. Make fun of the org to the media and in social media. It's a Super Bowl year in NOLA. No we are doubtful to see any possible change till after.

The kiss of death.
I quit paying attention to that statement after he said don’t just look at the results.

By soon, you must mean not before January.

If anyone can get Allen fired it’s Derek Carr. He had like 6 or 7 different head coaches before the raiders realized who the common denominator was.

Yal are acting like he shouldn't come out and defend a coach. Good or bad. Bad organizations and leadership throws guys under the bus

This is the hope unless Allen just decides he is tired of this.

Yep all you can do is not show up. Once that happens then things will start happening.

Lol. Allen doesn’t need Carr’s help to get fired. He was going to do thst one way or the other on his own.,

It’s literally happened. He will likely become the first coach fired twice because of the same quarterback.

“Results matter, they do,” Loomis said. “But one of the things that I think good organizations do is you look beyond the results.

What’s the reason for the results, and how do you fix the reasons that keep you from winning?

It’s not always about the head coach. Sometimes it is, but it’s not always about that.

“It’s about a lot of different variables. A lot of things are involved in winning and winning a particular game, or winning a lot during the course of a season.

We’ll look at that when the time comes, but the time is not right now. We have a lot of games left, we have a talented team and we’ll see where it goes from here.”

quote:

“We know, (when) healthy, we have a good team,” Loomis said. “We know we do. And we’re confident in that.

But we have to weather this storm and weather weeks where we’re not at full strength. … We’ve got to coach better, we’ve got to play better, and I believe we will.”

It just may be you Loomis.

I'm asking him to change his ways

Take a look at yourself and then make a change

Pretty sure Tom Benson made Gayle promise to never fire Mickey. He’s like a son to him.
