Mickey is going down with the ship if Allen is fired so of course he's going to defend.
Someone is getting fired Friday/Saturday morning if DA gets booed off the field on Thursday

That quote screams he is good as fired. What would firing him now accomplish the Saints aren’t making the playoffs.

I understand we are dealing with a ton of injuries, more than anyone. The fact that we aren't even remotely as competitive, or competent, as other teams plagued by injuries so far (Rams, Packers) should speak volume.

I have been thinking it is doubtful that Allen gets canned midyear but if they lose Thursday to an awful Bronco team then go lose to the Chargers, that will be 6 losses in a row. I am not sure how they keep him at that point.
I know part of it is injuries, but this is the NFL, that isnt an excuse. Someone will have to lose their job whether it is Allen or a coordinator.
