After looking at the Saints schedule, over/under 9.5 wins

I think I may have to lay down some money on the over. You couldn't ask for an easier schedule. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the turnover of players we had (an the obvious Dennis Allen issue), but if we can't go 10-7 or better with that schedule, its time to blow up the team and tank for a rebuild.
Maybe the better bet is that they make the playoffs, giving you a shot at less wins but winning the division.
What say you?

Going to bet the over, Div winner and one other prop all together.

Over
I'm feeling 12-13 wins plus the division. David Carr signing was a big boost to the offense, which now features a bevvy of talent. If they can all stay healthy, and the team avoids injury trouble, there's no reason the Saints can't change the narrative on Coach Dennis Allen this coming year.

I’m not taking the over until Allen proves he can win that many games. Fool’s gold until then.

We’re capped out at 9 wins IMO. I like some of the moves made but am still not a fan of the Carr/Allen duo.

Ranking all 14 opposing quarterbacks on the Saints’ 2023 schedule
Take a look at this link. We play a gauntlet of shitty QBs and rookies. The best 3 QBs we face are Lawrence, Goff and Cousins. Now Dennis Allen is our coach, so we definitely can frick this up, but this is about as easy of a schedule vs QBs as you can get.

Going 4-2 in Div leaves us going 6-5 out of Div and that looks very doable with that schedule.

With Allen as HC and Pete as OC? Under. Way under? We don't have the OC to get the most out of Carr and Carr is on an athletic decline. You also have a dumbass for HC who definitely is clueless how to maintain an offense. Defense will have hit or miss spots all season. Will not be a good team. Might be a 7 win team in the division in playoffs.

The key is going to be how the team responds when injuries start happening.
I mean cause let's be real every team has them.

Still under. Dennis Allen is still the coach. He has to have a non losing season before I’d even consider him winning double digit games.

This. Allen has yet to have a winning season as a HC. No way I trust him to get to 10 wins. An average coach should easily be able to get to 10 wins in this division and schedule. Guess we will see how it plays out.

We've had too much practice if you ask me.

I agree we are due for better Fortune there.
Then you got to start thinking about are we going to turn the ball over like we did last year on offense or are we going to take the ball away more on defense than we did last year.
Are we going to commit dumbass penalties at costly moments.

I know even if we were to start 8-2 few, including myself, would be talking sh!t lol
I'll believe we can win the Division when and only when we actually do.
DA has got the keys to the carr so he drives into the winners circle or he drives us off a cliff.

On paper I have a hard time not choosing the over. But we are looking at a healthy roster. And we are never healthy. Which injuries are going to frick us? Are we deep enough at the positions where we will get hit hard? Will the young guys who we are expecting to step up actually step up?
