I wouldn't hate it. He, Ingram, and Kamara were too much. But without Ingram for 4 weeks he could be a nice horse to ride to start. Although it will be all eyes on Peterson again when we'd go back to Minny.

our running game only works in conjunction with the passing game. AD cannot play RB here, accordingly

Yeah an AP/Kamara rotation sort of tips our hand...

Murray wouldn’t be a bad fit, I’d imagine his agent is waiting on an TC injury though

AP had a chance and failed when his ego got in the way

SP actually dismissed that on PMT this week. Hell, on Arizona’s off week AP came back and visited, it was a pretty amicable split. Do I want him back? Nah but he wasn’t really a malcontent either

Again, that's when we were trying to split carries between 3 backs and no one could get in a groove. I'm just saying it'd be a different situation, not necessarily much better.

How do you know his EGO got in the way? Do you know what was discussed in his contract talks. What his contract states? Amazing how so many people can make assumptions about others without knowing the details.

IMO, based on AP's body language during that Minny game, you can tell he wanted 25+ touches with 300 all-purpose yds to rub it in the Viking's front office face. It may have been an amicable split; however, the AP to NOLA project failed b/c he was use to being the bell cow and that's NOT how CSP works.

Combo backs need only apply.

The problem is that, at no point, did Peterson look good.

Everyone gets the fact that he would get more carries with Ingram out.. but last year was a disaster with him and Payton. No thanks, our locker room and team chemistry was one of the best in the nfl last year

Sign him. Let him spot Kamara.

He plays well, there's an injury somewhere, Ingram comes back, we trade Peterson for another 6th.

I can see the headline in 15 years that still reads..

"A healthy Adrian Peterson eager to prove 'I'm still the best' "

Nope.

Failed experiment that ruined the chemistry of the offense.

Also, he proved to be a big diva.

We don't need that type of attitude on the team. I'd rather coach up a UDFA.
