Ben Johnson aint coming here, man. We gotta stop bringing him up. He has turned down multiple HC jobs the last 2 years. There will be probably 8 vacancies this year with the Saints owning by far the worst situation of any team in the NFL.

We wont get the hottest name in any cycle with our situation. If any of those other 8 or so teams want who we want we will be looking elsewhere because Loomis absolutely fricked us.

Ben Johnson gonna go somewhere with a QB in place already and probably one with either a good roster or draft capital or both. None of those things are the Saints. We are probably 4 years away from being competitive again.

Usually teams try to hire the opposite of what they fired. I like Glenn but with his background and schematic system he is the same as Dennis Allen. But Allen was actually more accomplished. I hope Glenn becomes a coach somewhere. This isn’t the time or place.
Either a young, up and coming offensive coach or a well-established coach (Vrabel, Belichek) that players will instantly respect and believe what they have to say will lead to success

Jets
Giants
Chicago (better option)
Miami (better option)
Saints
Jacksonville (Better option)
Dallas (disaster spot)
Vegas (unsure he gets fired)

I think the saints are one of the least favorable options for one of the more sought after candidates but there’s a few who are by far and away just as bad as the saints option.

Dallas
Jets
Vegas

I believe Ben Johnson wants full control over a roster which removes Dallas. Johnson isn’t coaching Rodgers. Vegas could be an option but their roster is worse than hours.

I believe he goes to Chicago or Miami but he’s not just taking any job.

Guy had a team with pretty mediocre talent and made it deep into the playoffs a couple times. Consistent winner. Gritty. Culture based coach. Players love him. Stuff like that.

He's the closest thing to Dan Campbell. Had the Titans doing decently with a bad roster. Won coach of the year.

Dennis Allen and Mickey Loomis have completely destroyed the culture that Payton built up. Vrabel is the guy that can build us back into a respected team and not the fricking clownshow we are right now.

This board downvoted me and said the same thing two years ago when Allen was hired and I said we should have went all in on Harbaugh.

I’ll say the same thing again, if the organization cares about winning, they will get the best. The best to me right now are Vrabel and the lions OC.

Neither are on Harbaughs level, but Vrabel is a very good coach and the Lions OC is more of a gamble but the most sought after candidate. Depends how much they truly care about trying to win.

Vrabel is this decade's Jeff Fisher. Couple of good years surrounded by mediocrity. He was 9-7 twice and 7-10 and 6-11 around an 11-5 and a 12-5. Meh.
