And yet again with the twist and ignoring the parts you want to.

just hope Watson won't pull some fantastic disappearing act once the season starts.

after last year, I'm not buying into shite.

no need to get pumped up after every positive tweet.

or negative tweet.

As I've said from the start, at least 40.

Edit:
There were signs last year some things were wrong and many (myself included) ignored a lot of them. Then injuries kicked us when we were down.

Bailey not panning out pretty much destroyed us from the start. Having terrible cover LBs and only one CB worth a shite had a horrible ripple affect on our pass rush which bled into run defense.

Lelito not beating out a clearly done Goodwin was bad enough. But then Evans sucked it up in pass protection(injury or not). Armstead going down was the nail in our coffin. Harris is why we drafted Peat.

Then the safety injuries.

Thing that concerns me the most by far this year are the guards. Then injuries. If healthy I think we have a shot if the guard play is at least decent.

4. Tim Hightower is one of the bigger running backs in Saints camp. He looked strong and scored Thursday in the red zone team periods. John Deshazier of NewOrleansSaints.com smartly stated that Hightower may have a Mike Bell-type of role on this team. He could be valuable in the red zone and a closer in game-ending run situations.
To me this is kind of big. When the Saints were closing games with Mike Bell they were at their best.

Absolutely. That's what made that 09 offense so good IMO. May not have been as high powered as other CSP era offenses, but when we needed to wear you down and bleed the clock we could.

catching 40 balls as saints starting TE with little depth is pretty insulting. If you're on the watson wagon, you should be saying he'd get at least 65-70 MINIMUM if healthy all year.

Huh? I always thought he was a smaller guy? This statement makes it seem like he's AP.

Peat at LT in scrimmage. Sounds like he's having a good day.

As is Watson, Snead, Colston and Ingram. Breaux doing well.

Grayson picked off by Sunseri again.
Apparently defense has only given up 1 TD, and it wasn't against Browner or Lewis.

Good for Hightower. When we signed him, the odds were against him of making the roster, but now he looks like he's in the lead for the 4th spot. Although, I think Khiry is most likely first up for the Mike Bell role.

anyone see the video of Byrd rehabbing that Lyons Yellin posted on his twitter?

Bizarre.

He's wearing a hoodie and covers his face for the camera, then runs to do his rehab work, and when he gets to the end and turns around he covers his face again, so the media can't identify him or something. Really weird.

Payton mad about defensive substitution issues today... blaming players and coaches.

Streif made a pretty good defense of Peat in his post practice questioning. Said that they had just completed at 13 play drive, and that was Peat's first action with the 1s in anything close to real action. It just takes time to get that conditioning.
