Vs 5 penalties for 35.
Not only were the Saints called for numerous penalties, they averaged 10 yds a pop.

A couple bad calls but this is also the most undisciplined team I’ve seen in a long time.

Refs dictated the outcome. If you don’t think this is the case then watch the 4th quarter. Btw refs aren’t suppose to throw flags because they think their is a penalty but didn’t see one

The defensive hold, the hands to the face, and the 40 yard PI call were all straight bull shite. They all extended that drive.
That stuff also forces our defenders to be even more conservative. It is bull shite all around.
The refs are full of it or they should have given the PI on the long pass to Olave the following drive.

All it takes is an extra ref in a booth with replay ability to call down to the idiots on the field that you saw it incorrectly. The Mathieu penalty cannot happen. A foul that an official thought they saw cannot stand. That takes an extra 30 seconds to correct.

My problem is we know they will back up their own guys.
It should be a separate officiating team that doesn’t even work with the on field refs.

exactly right...
look, there were some really bad ones (the Thielen PI, the Honey Badger hands to the face), but it wasn't ALL the refs... this team is HIGHLY undisciplined, and it really shows...
turnovers and penalties are sure fire signs of lackluster coaching/preparedness... and well... the proof is in the numbers... ain't really hard to figure out where the problem is

Yep the hands to face was to keep the drive going. That penaly would have changed the pace and rhythm of the game. We get the ball run some clock. Less exciting for the London showcase.

The NFL doesn’t want that. It’s no different than the WWE. Always the same script to close games. Phantom penalties to give the pre-decided upon victor the W.

I guarantee you could watch this game over again and find something their defense did that was a penalty. To have zero defensive penalties is impossible. Impossible!!!!!

They can’t manipulate and manufacture outcomes to maximize profits and build narratives if they institute this EASY, CHEAP fix.
Cheating fricking garbage league.
Now that the league officially endorses betting, I wonder how much arse frickery has to go down before some senator drags their asses before some committee for defrauding the betting public and essentially stealing funds similar to insider trading!
