With the way we've treated him with baby gloves for any and every lower body injury he has had here, it would be a huge upset if he were to return in two games.

If I had to guess, depending obviously on if we beat SAC, Griff will pull some bullshite where we keep listing him as questionable for the whole series but never dress him out. Or he can take a page out of his book from the PHX series where he kept saying there is a chance Zion could be available if we make it to the second round when he knew damn well he could get away with saying that because we were never going to win that series.

There's nothing to answer. "He felt tightness in his hamstring, and we'll evaluate it tomorrow. I don't know anything else yet." It's simple, but just like everything else with this franchise, they make it complicated.

He played in 71 of 83 games this season, with 2 of those missed due to the birth of his child. The last game missed was a finger issue and I believe another was missed due to an illness.

Im not sure Zion goes along with that shite this year. If they do that to him, I honestly think he’ll ask out. I think he needs to take a stand and pels need to let him play. It’ll be interesting to see what happens. I also dont think this is a serious grade 3 strain like last year, likely be a grade 1 especially if hes walking without a limp.

Eh, there's no reason to believe he has that in him. He's been very submissive when it comes to injury management every step of the way.

He won't be the same player if he doesn't have his explosiveness. It's not as simple as just "letting him play." Sure, he could give it a go, and if he reinjures it, you haven't really lost anything since he has 5 months to heal; but I don't think the team will be very good if he's out there unable to drive and jump.

To be fair playoffs is different and hes played in over 70 games this season. So lets see.

Yeah I doubt that. I think if we beat Kings we’ll see him again.

I think so too unless imaging shows its Grade 2 or higher

Lets be honest we have seen even an out of shape Zion be a threat. Against the thunder even if he isnt as explosive- his ability to create space in the post is a valuable threat. Honestly, he has nothing to lose if he reinjurss it- has the whole offseason to recover. We’re also not sure if he cant drive or jump. We have no idea what grade it is.

Grade 1 strain: takes 2 to 5 days to recover. Again hoping its a lower level strain. The fact theres reports hes walking fine and good spirits leans towards it being a low grade strain but again we’ll see.

They aren’t letting him play on even the lowest grade hamstring strain given his prior injury. So we can cross this season out. At least it wasn’t a major injury that costs him part of next season.

This is inexcusable. Same thing with BI. If they can go, then What the frick are you saving him for? Always about fricking next year with this organization. Like imagine telling the dudes in the 90's, you can play but we have to restrict your minutes. They'd laugh.

The league wonders why viewership is at an all time low. Players don't fricking do what they are played to do. Part of it is on them, and part of it is on dumb arse medical teams

Zion suffered hamstring injury per Shams

I called it last night.

Obviously had no actual clue, but it seemed pretty obvious it was the same as the Philly game last season.

Welp...

If that is the case, we would not see him again this season.

I'll take a win vs the Kings, a playoff series vs the Thunder where BI plays well and increases his trade value

grade 1, but even still it would be unlikely he could play Friday

I really would like him to get a few games before we stall out, but we saw last night in 57 minutes what he is capable of. If BI or CJ could have played even mediocre, we win

Not all of us lost credibility. I called hamstring, although I did say he motioned to abdomen briefly.

This will backfire in Griffin giving BI an extension. Why if Zion cant go at all, I dont want to make playoffs.
