Ok, let me attempt at explaining the true rational situation here for those that don’t understand.

Our season is over, so Zion is not going to be inserted into back to backs and risk injury heading into the offseason. Especially with our draft standings at risk.

The NBA makes it a BIG no no to sit Star players in away games where it’s the only time that team will play there. Tomorrow is the one time this year that the Pels will play in Charlotte. While tonight is one of a couple division games the Pelicans will play in Memphis.

Short story, the team risked a big fine for sitting Zion out of the Charlotte game if not hurt and after playing the night before. That is why you are seeing what you are seeing. All of this makes total sense and is exactly how they should be handling the situation.

And now that Ja is likely out too, it’s a good thing we don’t have Zion or we might have been favored.

Great fricking idea. Great way to sell more tickets and keep fans happy.

If you are going to a Pels game this year then it is purely for fun and with no expectations.

The issues is that fans are currently split into 2 categories.

The fans that actually think we can sell more tickets or make people happy this year are less willing to sell our whole team.

Please just trade the man so nobody has to deal with this shite anymore.

And this is the problem with those fans. Want short term happiness but also angry and want to trade certain people.

You have to pick one. You want short term happiness or long term solutions?

I'm willing to bet you want a "competent and competitive franchise".

In reality winning games this year does NOTHING to help that cause.

Its hard for some fans to accept that the more we lose, the more some fans are getting excited and hopeful for next year.

The more games we lose then the more likely I am to buy tickets next year.

It actually shows our team is serious about making moves to become a contender.

Huh? I don't ever want to see Z out of a game for "rest". IDGAF if they got a back to back to back, I want him in all 3 games.

This is a joke if a Franchise because they don't give a frick about the fans.

No fricking way I'm sitting Zion in a game against Ja just to play him in a game against Charlotte. No way I'm gonna want an evaluation vs the Hornets over an eval vs the Grizzlies.

It's fricking retarded bro.

If for no reason other than I don't trust his arse to stay in shape if I don't see him on the floor every night. The fact that Zion isn't fighting the organization to play every night is even further proof that he's not the guy. Give me competitors.

Are we even sure it's a team thing?

Honestly man, nobody who wants to stay with a franchise will agree to sit out when healthy.

This time, I don't think it's the team. I think it's just him using the ability to sit as a way to show the team he does not want to play for them.

At least I hope so. It would be a real shame if it's him doing it or if it's the team and he never tries to override them.

It's amazing how nothing about this team behind closed doors comes out. How you think DJ would feel if the team kiips sitting a healthy Zion? You think that would motivate him to play harder? Hell naw lol.

How you think a Cooper Flagg or an AJ would be looking at this franchise? They would look with disgust.

If it's Zion doing it, I guess it's better. But overall, it's just a shame and the team should be embarrassed.

I love that you believe there is a greater plan at play. Even better, you believe that you can trust this group to execute it. It makes no sense..

Oh. That actually changed my perspective.

So they play 3 games in Memphis this year?

He already missed the first one, and I noticed sometimes 2 divisional opponents play 5 times (only noticed it a few years ago). Do they play in Memphis again?
