I'll come rain on the parade if that's what you are looking for. But yes i agree Zion has been playing near an MVP level lately, and been loving his defense.

Clutch stats since the all-star break.

Zion
Total minutes 6.7 in 5 games (2-3 record)
0-1 FGA
0-1 FT
1 rebound
0 assists
1 block
0 turnovers
+/- -5

BI
Total Minutes 6.6 in 4 games (2-3 record)
0-2 FGA
1-1 FTA
1 rebound
1assist
0 turnovers
+/- -4

Trey
Total Minutes 6.3 in 4 games
Zeros across the board
+/- -8

Herb Total Minutes 7.1 in 5 games
1-1 on 3's
1-1 FT
3 assists
1 turnover
+/- -5

Larry Total Minutes 2.2 in 3 games (2-1 record)
2-3 FGA 0-1 from 3
CJ Total Minutes 2.4 in 2 games (1-1 record)
1-2 FGA no threes attempted

It appears Herb basically did all of the scoring/assisting in the clutch.

We've played a total of 7 clutch minutes since the all-star break.
21 teams have played 14+ (twice as much) (14 of them are playoff teams)
11 teams have played 21+ (three times as much)
4 teams have played 31+ (four times as much)

I am hoping we have some close games in the next 8 out of 11 against playoff teams, and we can show some life in the clutch. We desperately need the practice, as we are 2nd to last in the league in clutch minutes played at 79

Herb is the team leader. I also know if I needed clutch FTs, he's the person I'd want at the line even over BI/Trey/CJ. Maybe Hawk I'd put on the same level as Herb since he's a dead-eye shooter and isn't afraid of the moment.

That’s because he looks like an Adonis. It’s what makes me upset for him. Dude could be all NBA if he’d get his conditioning/weight under control.

I’m biased but there’s not a superstar in the league more likable than our boy Zion
