Note who you replied to, consider his ratio of negative posts, which is probably close to 100%.

Why do you always try to go personal? I have never and won't ever say a negative thing about you. Yet you are always trying to get people to freeze me out. It a shitty thing to do. It's petty and should be beneath you.

But I have to ask, what exactly is positive about this situation?

Do you understand what "personal" even means? Because that wasn't personal. I discussed specifically and only his posts. Do you disagree with my assertion, yes or no?

Please note I said nothing negative about the poster in my post you replied to. So I'm not following your logic here.

Wait, so you agree with the other guy that if Zion copied Lebron's routine, that makes Zion clueless... Really?

brmark, it's not personal. You seem like a nice guy. I'd probably enjoy being your friend IRL. And you are obviously very smart in some ways -- highly intelligent.

But your have some really dumb basketball takes. Really dumb.

It's frustrating.

You think stretching wouldn't help younger players

Lebron and CJ have both emphasized the importance of stretching and maintaining flexibility in later years.

Zion dismissed his weight issue and instead said he needs to focus on stretching and flexibility (following Lebrons plan) while completely blowing off that fact that stretching won’t do shite if you’re still way overweight and out of shape.

Again, just another moment of clueless immaturity from Zion.

My apologies. I thought you were talking about me when you talked about who he replied to, saying that the poster is always negative.

It looked personal to me. Basically insinuating that the poster should be ignored. I took it personally when I thought it was me you were talking about.

Hell no. That would be epic. I'd love for Zion to be half that dedicated..

Last offseason 265 is the target weight his chef had for him, so that’s probably around where he was playing last season.

I'm no fitness expert but not convinced of that Soggy, don't think Zion has been 265 since his Duke days. I think its just in his head that bigger is better (Thanos). Stretching for sure will help, via prevention, of soft tissue issues but the structural pounding with that amount of weight is just not a recipe for success with his style of play. Like AD said, he's a Mack Truck that corners like a Ferrari.

Well he basically admitted to his shitty diet. Then he basically downplayed the need to lose weight. Now he wants to focus on stretching and flexibility.

It’s funny because Zion says he doesn’t need to lose weight, Wemby and Chet said they don’t need to gain any weight. You can definitely see these young guys just don’t have interest in focusing on their body, which is why they are on an extreme end of the scale.

Not if they are prescribed. He can be treated and have his levels professionally maintained within the bounds of the league standards. He could cycle during the offseason as well. Kobe Bryant use to go to Europe and do all types of therapies and treatments not legal in the US during the offseason..

To be fair most NBA guys come into the league with very bad diets. I've heard them say it themselves as well as accounts from their teammates. This includes Lebron as well. He didn't have a good diet for a long time. DeRozen said he ate off a food truck his first year in Toronto and had no idea a personal chef was a thing.

That being said, some of these guys are fortunate enough to be able to stay relatively healthy and overcome those poor diets with their insane training regimes and playing basketball at every chance.

Zion has poor dieting and he probably overeats as well so that's a very bad combination. Then you factor in his injuries and it becomes a very toxic environment for him since he's sitting around at home with nothing focus on other than rehab. It's a bad cycle for him. They gotta figure how to manage him through the season to keep him focused.

So you've now argued that it's clueless that Zion brushed off stretching and you think it is also Zion being clueless that he wants to stretch.

Got it, makes perfect sense.

Agreed. That poster being referenced replied to that and said Zion is clueless for wanting to copy Lebron.

You're hurt, man.

You gotta regroup and move on.

ETA: Also, my Mother died about 18 hours ago. True story. I only say that cause the timing is funny, it's not one of those gotchas to make you feel bad, just thought it was a tad coincidental.

Appreciate it!

It wasn't unexpected, so it's something I was prepared for, makes it a bit easier than when it's a completely unexpected surprise.
