Sheesh. Looked like he just had all of the life sucked out of him.

Welcome to our franchise kiddo. Get used to it.

I think he blames himself for that foul that lead to DeRozen giving the Spurs the lead that they never relinquished. I think it was the most emotion I've ever seen him display after a bad play.

When you’re the only consistent player on the team. Anyone will feel what Zion is feeling tonight. Especially when your vets are not listening to the coach.

There was a layup he made toward the end of the game where he got fouled by 4 people and afterwards he turned to the ref with his arms straight out in the air. I think it's the most demonstrative I've ever seen him against refs. I think he's getting tired of everybody's shite.

He went 7/13 from the free throw line, gave up a rebound to Keldon Johnson that was 6 inches from his face and fouled Derozan on and-1.

As good as he was tonight, he shite the bed at the line and on defense late.

Can't blame him.

He plays with one other consistent NBA player and the GM locked in the worst fit possible as his frontcourt mate.

Exactly the reason why you can't tank. You have to try and attempt to make the playoffs or at least try to continue to get better for the future.

When your best teammate is Brandon Ingram, I would be too.

Poor kid. Sucks to suck.

Yeah, no.

I know you’re literally obsessed with me, but I’m good with losses and don’t care too much at this point.

But he did look defeated

truth, unpopular take but BI is a choke artist. Missing free throws, turning the ball over, scared to take the last shot... he’s overpaid

To be fair to Brandon, our entire team and coaching staff are professional choke artists. It’s just who we are at this point. B and Z just got outdueled by a high school defensive scheme, an old Derozan and Derrick White. And the really sad part is, any fan watching the game knew exactly what was going to happen 2 and a half hours before the game. And we still even knew it was going to happen when it looked like we had finally broken the seal and we were up 5 with 3 to play.

Props to the Spurs for winning a game they had no business winning on paper.

I don’t think he’s overpaid. A top 10 SF whose only 23..you can’t let those guys go. Even with growing pains. He didn’t even hit his prime yet and is still growing as a player. We don’t need him to be the main guy. We just need him to be a complimentary player to Zion. Especially a guy that is coachable and hard working.

Like others say, it seems like spacing hurts Ingram more than it hurts Zion. But to me, it feels like we need a floor general out there calling out plays. Most of our losts is because of guys just blanking out and being clueless. I really wish we had rondo again.

I’m still not over the absolute brazen hypocrisy of calling that brush foul against him on Westbrook when they let him be karate chopped all game long.

He literally made a 3 pointer on the last shot yesterday.

What if I told you, Ingram at 23 is better than Kobe was at 23 in the clutch?

23 is still young in basketball years, and still 2-3 years away from hitting your prime.

Now, I think we could trade Ingram and get another haul for him and a "star" player that fits better with Zion right now, but that's mostly because I don't think Ingram will ever be comfortable with deferring main scoring duties to Zion.

Yeah, Zion knows that, if he is going to be great, he has to be able to take over a game and lead his team to victory. Missing the free throws that he did last night and commiting the dumb foul on DeRozan are what was bothering him, not coaching or the play of his teammates.

Look griff has done nothing as a GM to make me happy.
We picked zion with one, mrs benson could have hired the guy who dresses as the saints boba fete to make tough decisions like that everything else has been a failure coaches and players

He would hurt our spacing too much at this point. But we do need a floor general. Doesn’t have to be a PG though with the way the NBA is now. Lebron, Draymond, Jokic are all off position generals. But I don’t see Zion or BI being that guy

Maybe we could get Lowry to be that dude
