No shocker the Pelicans have two super stars on the roster and still aren't even fricking close to sniffing the playoffs.

high school defensive scheme

Well that high school defensive scheme owns 5 NBA titles. How many titles does our current old coach have with his defensive scheme?

I wonder what the Pelicans record would be if the games ended at the 5 minute mark of the 4th quarter.

I don’t think you can just go by record and say that. Take the last few games for example: they lost 3 of 4, but 2 in OT and last night’s by 2 points. And you can’t say “that was against the Knicks and Wizards”since they were on 6 and 7 game winning streaks, respectively. I’m not saying they are where they need to be, but I do think they are closer than their record indicates.

They were running a gimmicky high school zone bro lol. It only works if you don’t have enough shooters to respect.

TBH offense wasn’t really the issue. It was ft’s, turnovers (which is offense lol), and adams being a weirdo on the boards those last 2 defensive possessions.

That being said, we should have been up by 15-20 and not even had a sweaty last 3 minutes. Nunnaly and Wenyen shouldve been out there getting their cardio in.

Bro this thread was mad overkill lol. I’m glad he looked defeated. Better than the smiling in his other pressers after losses. This is how the whole team should look and feel after a ridiculous loss. Too bad it took 65 games for a loss to actually hit hard. That is why we have so many.
