Basically saying he is referring to himself not being in mvp Zion level shape yet physically or mentally.

It was a better comment. But, here is a novel idea:

Stay in shape year round. Before the season starts, get in spectacular shape.

Hes admitting to one of the symptoms of why this team is struggling. He knows he's not where he needs to be physically. And it's bullshite. We're gonna have to hope he plays 40 plus consecutive-ish games and then be ready to kill motherfrickers

If we can get offensive contributions from the team like last night on most nights, he'll easily stay healthy. The game actually looked easy for them for once.

You can have all the dieticians and personal chefs you want but you still can’t control what goes in his mouth. That’s on him to fix. It wouldn’t take much healthy eating to shed 20 lbs off his frame and he’d be such a better player. Right now he looks like he got stung by a hundred bees.

20? That’s like throwing a deck chair off of the Titanic. He needs to lose 40lbs at least. He’s got to be about 260/270 right now.

Didn't hear him mention anything specific about mental or physical shape in that clip. Did he say that somewhere else?

Wait wait wait... this can't be the case... I remember hearing Griff say that Zion is in the best shape of his career during the offseason??

In terms of the eye test, he looks fine in terms of his weight. He just needs to get his conditioning up to expectations and he'll be good to go.

You think Zion should be playing at 210/220?

zion at 250-255 would be a huge win compared to whatever mythical number he is now.

Michael Jordan, at his heaviest, was 220lbs (at 6'6). He was bullying everybody on the court and was super jacked.

Zion will never get that low. But to act like it's emaciated is odd. Ingram is 3 inches taller and isn't even 220..

This is around where he should be. 250-260

He is certainly closer to 300

Its body types and playing styles. If Zion was that weight his whole playing style would be useless honestly. Hes basically today’s version of Shaq. He needs to be in better shape but not so low where he loses his advantage.

So, two deck chairs? j/k

Honestly, he looks in the 280s right now. I don't think he looks 3 bills.

I'd say he'd have a lot more fun at 250/260.

I get it. It's a constant debate. I think he needs to be sub 250. But nobody really knows, since he's never truly been in peak condition..

Have you been to any games and seen him up close? I do not think he is close to 300.
