LOL, so they could pivot to Vucevic instead of BI. How far down the list is BI on other teams' radars? Is it simply his contract demands or is Griffin treating him like Wemby in trade discussions?

I love how all these golden state related BI interest are always things like:
- being discussed internally
-"could" move on to Ingram
- "sifting through options"

But nothing definitive about actually pursuing him.

We’re gonna get stuck with a contract in a BI trade that we’ll have to pay to dump next deadline to duck the tax. It’s the griff way

There was talk of them going after Vuc even if they got Durant. I think they realize they need a big, and I think even if they land Vuc they will still be looking at another deal

Not sure Shroeder can be aggregated.

He is able to starting today. When they made that deal they talked hard about getting it done when they did so that he would be eligible to be flipped again at the deadline.

That’s why DS made the comments yesterday about them being “modern day slaves”

Dennis, Kuminga, Looney, Payton for BI & Javonte matches salary almost perfectly.

We aren’t trading for Kuminga to sign a bigger deal and come off the bench.

This works, but GS is right under their hard cap and needing to sign 2 players. With their interest in Vuc then I think that we could all work out a 3 team deal with GS sending picks to Chicago.

Chicago: Schroeder, GP3, Wiggins

Warriors: Ingram, Vuc, Green, THT

Pels: Ball, Kuminga, Looney

This gets us even further under the tax and gives us a 16.7 million TPE (using exceptions to take in Kuminga and Looney), we get Ball to help close out the season at the PG spot, Looney to assist at C, and we can hopefully resign all 3 guys for fairly cheap. Kuminga would be a RFA and I don’t see anyone offering him more than MLE money which we could easily match.

I really would love to have Lonzo as that stop gap PG next year, but I just don’t see why the Bulls would trade Vuc and Lonzo for that. Now it’s the Bulls, so who knows really.

GS would have to send a 1st or 2 out to Chicago IMO, but they’re desperate enough to do that I think

Still waiting for Ingram's turn.

I just don’t see it working out, Butler said he won’t re-sign there.

That’s an out of left field move
Weren't there some rumors last year that they had some interest in JV? Guess they will lump that all in with the Fox trade.

Fox trade is completed, but Sacramento still has their MLE available and they have a TPE they can take Jonas into.

Edit: According to Bobby Marks they’re using their MLE, so they still have their large TPE available.
