He said the Pelicans know they have to improve the team to keep AD happy are the most active on the trade market. Said they will not throw there first round pick in a trade to get marginally better. Will only do so for a big trade. Said they tried to get Jimmy Butler with the pick before Philly had a better offer.

Just thought I'd pass this on

The bird writes posted this article earlier... none of the names in it get me excited at all. I’ve pretty much given up hope for this franchise and the nba as a whole. Last year we had a great team and literally 0% chance of winning the championship. That’s not fun

NBA the Jump was razzing on Nola again bout getting him out of here. These people make me sick

Kent Bazemore is about the only one who makes sense as of right now

Hopefully, there will be more teams selling off players as the season progresses though

A Bazemore/Lin deal with the Hawks for Solo and a pick has appeal, just not sure what that pick should be....

This board has crushed Demps for years but heaven forbid someone do the same.

I’d bet Amin would love to be a GM in the league(I like him a lot).

Pierce wants him in Boston.
Tmac doesn’t want a superstar to go title-less.

Rachel & Brian want him to go to the Lakers/ with LeBron.

Pretty simple to figure out.

Demps has gotten better

I think the problem right now remains there aren't a whole lot of sellers.

The West is far more competitive than anyone expected and teams we thought would be potential sellers(like the Clippers, sort of Mavericks, and Grizzlies) are all in the playoff hunt right now. Meanwhile Eastern sellers like the Hornets seem like they are in no rush to part with Kemba anymore.

Washington still seems like the biggest seller and there are a lot of asterisks and fit questions around trading with them.

That’s not a possible deal.
It needs to be Lin/Bembry

I'd love to find a way to get Baze, Dedmon, and Dinwiddie. Maybe:

ATL gets: Hill, NO 1st
BKN gets: Fultz, 2 PHI 2nds
NO gets: Baze, Dedmon, Dinwiddie
PHI gets: Niko

I've been hoping they find a way to get him on the team since last year. Having him + Elf solves a lot from a ballhandling / playmaking perspective.

That's what Dell dreams about.

Yep. The bottom line is Dell has gone all-in on trades, rather than building the team through the draft, and too many of his deals have simply not worked out.

The best bet for a solid player and not losing our first is Justin Holiday.

Johnson+two seconds might be able to pull it off

Dell gets a pass from me for this. Those were his marching orders when Benson was alive. They wanted to win NOW!

Trade AD. He doesn’t have the leadership qualities necessary to win a championship. He’s been mentally absent all year like he’s just biding his time until he can leave. It’s obvious. Trade him for as much young talent and picks as you can get
