It’s pretty odd that he can’t see that JV and Hayes on the floor together would be a solid move.
Play Hayes at the 4, let him create some energy on both sides - he played great d tonight, created some turnovers as well.
I’d roll Jose at the point, CJ and BI with Hayes and JV.
I’d rotate from there - Herb, Trey and Naji with Richardson as one of my last off the bench.
That at least puts the ball in a penetrating, pass-first pg in Jose, while running your offense through JV - that’s when the Pels are the best - then they find their shooters/cutters.
That’s honestly the only combo he hasn’t tried - he continues to play one or the other in JV or Hayes.
Play them together and let Jose be your pg.
The defense can’t get any worse than it already is.

Seems like the honeymoon is over!
Any coach could look like a genius with Zion, Ingram, McCollum, JV and Herb as your starting five.
Still holding out hope for Willie Green but lately, he hasn't been showing me much.

If this is your stance, how did he get them to play so hard after the Allstar Break and the playoffs last year?
Is Willie perfect? No, but he’s a 2nd year coach. Let’s see how he does for the rest of season and maybe the playoffs with a healthy roster before he trash him.

maybe the playoffs
if you think this team is making the playoffs, then maybe your username is a pretty apt description

Sucks that Quinn Snyder was available. He’s a good coach.
That would’ve been a home run hire for us. Willie can’t coach offense. Great guy but I think he is too much of a players coach

So you get him an offensive coordinator. Uncle Al is considered a great offensive coordinator and they still brought in someone to be his OC, and Finch coming in improved the offense pretty significantly.

Mr. Green doesn't have control of this team. You have a non-existent point guard and the guy who plays point guard turns the ball over too much.
Yes, I'm talking about CJ. He hasn't been a good fit from the start.

When do we start questioning Willies inability to develop talent. Feels like another issue of his to go along with the rest.
I feel like all hell will break loose if we fire him but man there’s just so many issues with his coaching. So many. It’s getting bad

We can’t keep firing coaches every 2 years. That’s not sustainable. Willie has to take his lumps and hopefully they get some players that can stay healthy.

Willie's lack of coaching was in full display last night. The Kings switched up their defense at half and held us to 20 points in the 3rd and 2 made 3's the whole second half (one came with 3 seconds left). No adjustments just some hooray keep working hard talks.

What in the world happened. I understand no Zion, but we look like a completely different team than the one that took the Suns to 6 games.
