Brought up several times in the broadcast last night (mostly by SVG I think). seems like every damn year its this merry-go-round of guys getting hurt and missing extending periods of time. What gives? Is our training staff that bad? Is it failure to condition? I don't get it. I get every team has periods like this but it seems like ours is every damn year.

The head of our training staff was known as the best in the league when we got him from Phoenix.

I'll say this... If you look at other teams, it tend to look easy and effortless and they are allowed to play in cruise control and pick their spots.

It might be the quality of the roster or the system they play in but it always feels like our stars has to work so hard all the time. And imo that leads to injuries.

Zion getting the football at the top of the key and saying hut hut was always gonna be a bad thing injury wise.

This. Feels like 70% of the time our guys have to work their dicks off the score. Zion particularly.

Man, I don't know if it's our bias, but I feel the exact same way.

I talked about it in another thread just today, the amount of open shots we generate without Zion..it's just gross to watch. While it seems like teams who don't have good attacking dudes make it look effortless getting 45 3pt attempts, most of which are open looks.

What do some of y'all think a training staff does there not miracle workers. The facts are our 2 best players are injury prone.

We built a team around 2 injury prone guys. This is the result you get. Zion is in his 4th year and has played 114 games. Ingram could hit 48 games played at most this year.

I'd lobby to hire Karl Malone as the head trainer. Dude almost never missed a game. He apparently had a legendary summer program. I'm joking, but it's hard to be a fan of this NBA when I grew up watching 80's/90's games where players rarely missed.

Redundant argument, but this is has been an every season problem with this team.

Gotta go all the way on the other end, A.C. Green.

Even more of an Iron Man and much, much less rapey.

I mean no but we’ve had the same shite happen with several different athletes. It’s not just Zion and BI.

I’m not blaming the training staff straight up I just don’t get how this happens every single year.

Pathetic - young guys that are good for < 1/2 the games during a 4-year time span.

This goes all the way back to Mashburn and Tyson Chandler's toe. Has plagued this franchise since coming here.
