Wemby alone is worth it.

Same with Jokic.

After that OKC.

All others, including Boston I am not sure.

OKC is the only sure one. Denver is possible because they have the best player in basketball along with a great starting 5, but Murray and Porter have injury histories comparable to Zion. Orlando and San Antonio would be the only others I would consider.

Philly and Memphis might have higher top end potential, but they could also become disasters.

There is zero chance Gayle would pay for Boston or Milwaukee's roster. And even if she would, I'd rather use that money and our picks to improve around Zion, Herb, Trey, and BI.

I chuckle at the people saying Houston. Van Vleet is really the only difference between the current Rockets and the Pistons, and he's on the wrong side of 30. Sengun is a turnstile and Green is an absolute bust. They'll be on another rebuild in under 5 years.

Minnesota is in financial hell with no draft assets. They may be a contender for years, but I think we're on a similar level with much more flexibility.

We're better, younger, and more asset rich than the rest of the teams not mentioned.

I wouldn't swap with Houston but you're really sleeping on Sengun here. He's by far their best player.

Sengun is very similar to Nikola Vucevic, a two time all-star, but not the centerpiece of a franchise.
The difference is Vucevic can at least play a little defense.

Another 40 burger from Jalen Green last night and the Rockets are now 35-35.

They are definitely a worthy rival to us moving forward.

Much more so than Wemby and that horrible Spurs organization.

Ok now this is getting ridiculous. Wemby will likely be if not the best likely a top 5 player in the league in next 3 years if not sooner. Your fascination with a rockets team fighting for the 10 seed is getting a little absurd.

That’s crazy considering 1 of their players is better than he is straight up.

It’s not a fascination. Yall are just wrong and it gets proven more and more with each passing day lol. Most on this board probably thought the rockets were winning 20 games this season and they have 35 with 12 games to play (including a series split with us for 2 straight seasons). They are legitimately going to be a problem moving forward.

Wemby can be a top 5 player all he wants. It doesn’t really matter if he has a washed coach and terrible roster around him. The Spurs are legitimately the least of my worries as a Pels fan. They are garbage.

The Rockets certainly do not have a player better than Wemby, let's slow it down here lol.

You’re constantly obsessed with the rockets that it’s tainting how you observe other players and teams. I remember you raving up how great sengun is- you don’t find it strange they’re playing faster and going on this run without him?

I think we’re going to be a bigger problem moving forward and we’ll see if their talent develops enough where they actually are fighting for a top seed like we are or just trying to get into the play in.

You do realize the Spurs roster will change right? You do also realize that if Wemby is a top 5 player- the Spurs will likely be a top team right? They kind of go hand in hand.

Personally as a pels fan you need to stop worrying about the rockets and start enjoying that we’re becoming a top team in the west. You’re acting like the rockets are this juggernaut- they’re a .500 basketball team.

You take the 20 year old rookie with the ceiling of greatest player ever 100 out of 100 times over the Rockets group.

OKC MAY have a potential better future, but I would still take the Pels because of the excitement and likeability of our players. Zion, Herb Trey, etc… are so much more fun to watch and cheer for than the OKC players IMO.

That is massive praise. Wemby has been impressive so far. But I'm never betting on that body type, especially at that height. He's a walking injury risk. I feel the same way about Holmgren. I don't believe they ever fill out properly..
