Sanders could very well be a top 5 center in the NBA next season. Unless Demps expects us to suck next season (which would be tough to do with a team of EG, AD, Sanders, Ryno, a couple of decent bench guys, the 6th pick and $15-20m in cap space this season), we'd be trading two mediocre players and a mid teens (possibly low 20s) pick for an all star caliber player. There's no way the Bucks would accept that trade offer.

This is a classic case of a team trading a bunch of dimes for a dollar.

he doesn't do enough on offense to pair with AD on this young team.

Seriously

Larry Sanders at 24 is probably already the best shot blocker in the NBA

You'd have the longest, most athletic, best defensive front court in the league from day one if you make this trade. I'd take it in a heart beat.

The only real legit thing you're really losing is that 1st round pick.

Vasquez is a rotation player that had a good season, Lopez is pretty much just an above average body out there. I'll trade those two for potential perennial defensive player of the year kind of guy.

larry would compliment smith very well. just think AD is still young to pair with a guy who's strictly a shot blocker/rebounder.

Seems like a lot to give up for someone that hasn't fully proven himself yet. But I guess I haven't seen the Bucks play at all this year so maybe that's why I feel that way

Sanders is a beast...2nd in the league in blocks in only 27 MPG.

...basically put up 10, 10, and 3 in his first season of significant minutes.
