I understand issues where injury or personal matters prevent a player from attending a game when he’s not playing. It doesn’t really matter much to me that Cousins wasn’t there.
However, I do find it very interesting how some players stay away from their teams when there the injury doesn’t prevent them to do so. They’re employees of the team making insane amounts of money, don’t see why it’s a problem for them to attend the team’s games. I don’t think it matters too much with Boogie, but matters much more in cases like Kawhi Leonard. If you’re paying the guy $20 mil a year and he’s medically cleared to play, he should at the very least be at the arena.

Not gonna lie, after reading the post title, I immediately thought this was one of those fake fans who pretend their fans, but don't know a thing about the team besides the best player's name. I was about to flame the hell out of you if you didnt know Boogie was injured.

Dont really care if he legitimately cannot make the game. So be it. That’s fair. But to show up your coach like that and not want to be at the game for your teammates is weak, when clearly you could have been. Has Cousins even sniffed the playoffs before? No. Does he plan to re-sign here next year? Seems like it. Why not show support?

You realize it’s far more likely that the reason he isn’t cleared to fly to Portland is both length of flight and altitude of flight as compared to the puddle jump to Indio? Longer flights and higher altitudes increase probability of blood clots, which is why he has to be cleared to fly in the first place.
As opposed to him lying to Alvin and the team about not being able to fly, and then being brazen enough to showcase being in a plane on social media, when literally a week ago he showed up to our playoff clinching win
