We need to take care of the Magic and Suns. Bucks and Celtics are a tall order.

The Mavericks have won 9 of 10(the 1 loss was when they sat Luka and Kyrie) and are now 1.5 back.

Mavs are on a heater but next 4 them are kings, rockets, warriors and warriors. All 4 of those should be pretty tough. Kings got blown out because they were coming off back to back. Im expecting the mavs to have at least 2 losses in the next 4.

They played the first of 2 against Sacramento last night and beat them by 35 on the second night of a b2b.
They have three days off and play again. Then they play 2 against Golden State and Atlanta

It would be absolutely fricking typical of us to parade up to 4th and get everyone excited….only just slide down to 7th because we fricking suck against good teams

The figure is very skewed and you can mould it to fit whatever argument you like.
By my count we are 25-19 against +.500 teams. Looks amazing.
2 of those were against Embiidless Philly…one against the cavs with no mitchell or garland…
Officially we don’t count Memphis, as their record sucks, but they just happened to be healthy / good when they played us and beat us twice.
The kings are obviously a good team and we somehow have their number so that really bumps us up.
We’re about to play the Bucks who absolutely hammered last time we played, and the Celtics who are the best in the league. Hopefully we can pull those 2 out and I’ll eat my words…
We hold our own against the better teams. So that’s probably a better way of putting it. But we certainly, frequently whiff games that are important.
Edit: looking into it a bit deeper… we’ve obviously missed players too in some of our losses. So maybe it balances.
Either way… still pissed off about shitting the bed at home last night with seeding so tight.
