Jose Herb DD TM Jax as a 2nd unit intent on defense and giving starters rest. Need to give our front office credit for the roster we have. It’s not really been too long since Dell Demps

Most excited for Small Ball lineup...
CJ
HJ
BI
ZW
LNJ

And I do love Jonas, but really think that small ball lineup is insane. We have options to match up with a lot of different teams, BUT/OR are also built to force other teams to match-up to us.

Anything that includes Zion.

Exactly we have many more counters in our lineups this year. Pray that we can be relatively healthy this year because if so we are contenders.

Willie would be an idiot if one of Z, BI, and CJ was NOT on the floor at all times (obviously assuming all are healthy). Just saying I hope to NEVER see the aforementioned lineup.

ETA: Never want to see this lineup when the game is on the line

If players develope the way I hope they do...the "Mother of All Lineups" is...

1. Herb (Point Guy, assuming you gotta call somebody that)
2. CJ (Our best 3-pt shooter...both C&S & off the dribble)
3. BI (Returning to a very solid C&S 3-pt shooter)
4. Zion (Never seen the guy play...but I hear good things)
5. Murphy (The key...if he can pull it off...at small 5)

By playoff time...assuming he developes, which I do...DD in for closing lineup...in place of CJ, for final 5 minutes or so. (That should get me a few "WTHs?")

Just for fun, the most switchable, position-less line-up would be:

Herb
DD
BI
Zion
TM3

That lineup would be fun as hell. Probably our most important 5 players for the future of the team also. If Herb and Dyson can keep improving the 3-ball, that lineup could be deadly in certain situations.

It’s not all that difficult to watch some highlights if you want to get an idea of how Zion plays. I feel like you’ve been weirdly flexing never seeing him play for basically a year now.

This is our up 12 at the end of a half or 3rd after you were up 16 because starters need a rest lineup. I just think they can switch a lot besides Jose and have the energy to run and play hard defense

Also want to experiment with a big lineup. Val Hayes TM BI Zion. This would be to counter lineups with not enough offense or not enough size to guard us.

My point still stands. If the game is still in doubt (in your scenario the game is still in doubt) one of the big 3 needs to be in the game assuming all are healthy. You can still easily manage their minutes and not over load them.

I think that could be a closing lineup for us.
