Yes, we could, imo

The better option imo would be to sign him to an injury protected deal akin to Embiid. He only gets paid if he plays x amount of minutes and games

Or designated rookie extension akin to Luka which would mean he gets paid if he goes off next year

If he won’t accept either of those options over a full on max, then consider dealing him

Zion is worth another team's entire roster, but that's just my opinion.

Do these people get any joy out of the team? Seriously?

Team is doing great - hosting play in tomorrow - lottery pick from Lakers - bright future - game changing CJ trade - rookie all defense team player, etc etc etc

So many things you could say.. but then we got these people who NEVER post on the Pels Board but to neg Zion.

FLOCK UP or GET THE FLOCK OUT!!

Well I mean it’s a real discussion to be had. Maybe after the playoffs is more appropriate. But he’s gonna want max money.

I have it on good authority this is the approximate package, contingent on all necessary teams being in on the trade:

- Klay Thompson’s left leg
- Lavar Ball’s stash
- Coach K
- Prime Shaq (presuming of course that the DeLorean comes from the Dubs)
- 2022 Russ

And unlike Fakers fans, we have the money for a max. Zion will get the max. He will be the best player in NBA next year.

A lot.

But pretty much every Pels fan should not want to trade him and hope for a healthy Zion next year. He's going to get a ton of money but it's a risk the franchise needs to take. If he gets injured again then it sets the franchise back but if he's healthy, then you can become a contender.

If Zion has developed his game just a little, he's a top 10 player with top 3 player in the future. You're not going to get a top 10 player for him in trade. I have no idea what the market value would be for him, but it's certainly not a player of Zions caliber. Just the thought of Zion on this team gets me excited, I cant imagine actually seeing it. But it's going to happen, and it's going to be a fun season.

And would be well worth the max if he comes close to his potential in a healthy body.

We will happily give it to him.

A heck of a lot less than his value to the Pels.

I don’t want any Klutch player or a player that doesn’t want to be here. If Zion wants to be here it will be apparent and it will be HUGE for our organization.

It remains to be seen. All it took was completely rebuilding a legitimate, competitive roster WITHOUT him - while he sulked and nursed a pretty questionable injury (at least in the sense of his behavior during so) for him to even moderately come around and act like he gives one iota of a shite.

I know it doesn't matter but it's going to be hard for me to forgive him for that. I completely expect him to be a huge problem for the team and for it's chemistry but only time will tell.

Personally, I know it's been talked about, but I think we still underestimate the damage done to team morale last year under SVG. A fiery guy like Josh Hart hated playing basketball. BI was unhappy. Eric Bledsoe was getting big minutes and phoning it in. Steven Adams looked broken down, not terribly interested, but looks like a completely different person in Memphis this season.

We have to remember that the SVG team is the one that Zion has most recently experienced. The vibe around the team has completely changed, but Zion hasn't really been a part of this like everyone else. I think what we are seeing now is a softening from him as he is around the team. I honestly don't see any reason why he won't be as plugged in as everyone else once he gets back on the court.
