I wonder if Miami would really contend in the East with Paul and Jimmy Butler. It would be interesting.

I’d send out Moore, some of our minimum guys, and a pick for that.
The Cleveland pick for sure or a heavily protected first.

Heat fans seem to think they will wear down the Wizards and get Beal.
I don’t see that working without eating Wall’s contract.

No chance. Playoff foddlers at best. Paul is breaking down at s rapid rate and he’ll continue to play less and less games as he continues to age. Miami would be really dumb
to make a move like that.

Riley has made some erratic moves over time and has been involved in two trades that fell apart because of issues about who was going where.
I figure he may be senile enough to do it.

Gosh i hope OKC just hangs on to him, i dont want him to go to the Lakers. Not that it matters much, but tired of these players finding ways to get what they want.

No way he ends up on the Lakers.
LA could only trade for him payroll-wise if they included AD or LeBron, which isn’t happening, or CP3 took a buyout on a $120m contract, which also isn’t happening.

I’d love to see him as a laker. I’m sure he and lebron would butt heads. AD would be in a tough spot trying to be the go between those 2. Don’t forget rondo I’m sure he and CP3 would also butt heads.
Lakers would crumble from within and CP3 would be the person to start it all.

quote:Will be interesting to see what they do with those. They can't keep nearly all those dudes and draft them for themselves.
From 2020 to 2026: 15 first-round picks

Lebron and CP3 are best friends on the level that Lowry and DeRozan are. They won't fight.
Now, Rondo on the other hand legit hates CP3 and will murder him.

It’s more of Cousins and CP3, they hate each other more

Look up what Rondo said about CP3 three weeks ago.

Mother f*ck! Once again, some team gets overextended on a contract (Paul) and some other moronic front office swoops in and bails them out Sometimes it feels like the NBA just writes a check to an owner and says "we need you to take one for the team on this one"
They got 2 picks and 2 swaps 2021 and beyond. This is not a trade anyone should give a flying frick about as a Pels fan.

I could see CP3 in miami to be honest

I look at it as a guarantee that at least one playoff spot will be open this year because OKC clearly won’t be going back.

Top 8 teams in the west in no particular order
Clippers
Lakers
Rockets
Jazz
Nuggets
Trailblazers
Spurs
???????
Could be warriors, pelicans, or kings. Warriors won’t have Klay for awhile, pelicans are young how fast do they gel, and Kong’s played tough last year might be their chance to sneak in the playoffs.

This could also be the year that the Spurs collapse into dust.

Like with Westbrook before, Detroit and Miami make sense. I'm sure both would have to give up less than they would have for Westbrook and his deal is a year shorter. They basically just need to provide salary relief for OKC and Paul is theirs.
Although I know things didn't end great for Blake and CP. Not sure if Detroit wants to go down that road.

Detroit fans are insisting that Blake said the feud was overblown and he has matured since then.
He probably appreciates CP3 more after playing with Reggie Jackson, too.
