I really hope Anthony Davis career goes a similar route as CP3.

Except I don’t see the Pels moving and getting replaced by another team.

In CP3’s case, he is ending up back in the city where it started. Just when he thought he was out of OKC, it pulled him back in.

Most of those Rockets picks will be in mid 2020s when they're likely rebuilding.

Both contracts are terrible but Westbrool can at least win more games than Paul, benefiting the Thunder tank plan and Rockets win-now goal.

And now Paul will spend the rest of his decent years wallowing in OKC. Sounds good to me! #winnersgonnawin

$120m total across three seasons.

If he takes a buyout on that, it would be a major haircut. Ain’t happening because he will NEVER see that kind of money again.

And he only has himself to blame.

As it was CP3 that was most dogmatically adamant about injecting the new veteran superstar contract structure so players like him would be able to get these massive 40 million dollar contracts that nobody really wants the second you start to decline, so he has likely lost all his leverage and ability to win a championship before he’s washed out of the league like Melo.

Russ and Harden on the same team. You talk about a fight over the ball!?! Plus, the fashions lol. Seems like a downgrade to me.

Westbrook won’t be injured come the playoffs unless he and Harden get into a fistfight over the ball.

Paul OTOH could never stay healthy.

Is OKC stupid?

If Westbrook really had negative value in trade talks, this is a good deal for them.

The Pels, Thunder, and Grizzlies are gonna dominate drafts for the next few years.

CP3 will probably agree to a buyout and go to a legit contender, just my opinion. OKC is in rebuild mode and CP3 is not gonna be a part a rebuild

which... let's admit... chances of that happening are 50/50 at least

his contract would probably say otherwise

he will never see the current amount he's making again in his career

I think more than like 70/30 lol. Plus, Westbrook can Brock as many 3’s as he wants. I think we can beat them now.

Paul could’ve stayed in NOLA, maybe would have never won anything (like he didn’t do anything else) but would’ve been loved by the city and may have even gotten a jersey retired and hung in the rafters. Instead he ended up in OKC.

I hate the rockets, but people said the same thing about Paul and harden.

And now Paul is heading to OKC because Harden and Paul couldn’t coexist.

Morey can make all the statements in the press he wants but he was trying to send CP3 anywhere he could and got no takers until now.
