Kendrick Perkins apparently hates the hire. One of the dumbest guys to ever somehow get a job in media.

Watching him talk about it I'm not sure he wasn't thinking we hired Jeff. Its Perk so you never know.

That is not what he said with his slow talking azz. He said likes the hire but does not love the hire because our team is young and a former player may have related to them better.

He said SVG's style historically is a yeller versus someone who is able to get the same message across in a more modern and relatable way.

Not sure I necessarily wanted SVG but Kidd and Jackson are functionally retarded. Which is why Jackson has been commentating since Golden State canned him IIRC.

Perkins hated the hire for one reason. SVG is white. They could have hired the black crackhead on the street corner and he would have called it a “progressive hire”.

Jackson won COY and was fired because of the players clashing with his culture. He somewhat imposed his religious beliefs on the team and control how the players moved. You can't take away the fact that he built that team and made them who they became.

Kidd on the other hand seems like a good assistant to this point.

Lol

Someone could write a book on why he was fired. He’s a piece of human garbage.

Man, that is an EXTREMELY positive-spin on the Jackson GSW tenure

I can't stand Perk, but the people on twitter claiming he hated the hire are exaggerating. He actually liked the hire. It wasn't until the host doubled back around to him that he mentioned a "player's coach" might have been better for the young guys.

To me, Windhorst was the guy on BS. More nonsense from him about how Zion wasn't really close to the organization and how they need to repair that.

This.

One of our assistants came here in part because of a scandal having to deal with Jackson intentionally undercutting assistants and putting them against one another so that he could keep his own position secured.

Utterly dysfunctional bullshite that kept him from reaching the team’s potential like Kerr did upon taking over.

You certainly can.

You can easily argue he was holding back how great they could be by playing Lee over Draymond.

I get that he was the coach that took them from bad to 51 wins, but honestly, how much credit does he really get for developing the greatest shooting backcourt of all time?

He said that at first but when Windhorst was talking it up he was shaking his head in disagreement. His point wasn't necessarily a bad one but Kidd and Jackson being former players only goes so far.

Yea, he should definitely do some more research before posting a statement like that. Sounds like what his agent would say lol.
