I wonder if Juwan Howard would leave his alma mater to test the nba?
I remember a couple weeks ago he turned down any idea of him going back to the NBA. Seems he’s happy a Michigan for now. I’d still make him say no if I’m Griff

I think I read last week that Juwan hasn't been open to leaving Michigan for the NBA this offseason, but I still think that's a phone call you have to make.

Sam Cassell

We need someone that can really connect with the players and seems to know what he is doing. Not a retread either.

Just please God not Jason Kidd

I want Nate McMillan, but I doubt the Hawks let him walk away without giving him the job

If we hire Kidd of God forbid Marc Jackson I will melt harder than I've ever melt in my entire life.

I wouldn’t. I think we’d only do that if we knew it got us Dame. Players can do whatever the hell they want in this league so it’s not farfetched tbh. If the goal is a ship, Kidd might be the play. Takes our odds from exactly 0% to about 1% simply due to how many star players like and want to play for Kidd. X and O’s basically mean nothing in this league. Just be likeable and have A Plus talent. Even great coaches like Nick Nurse and Pop become essentially neutered and marginalized once they no longer have a talent advantage.

Chauncey Billups. If you watch the clipper games, you see how much he interacts with the players.

“He had been working already this whole past year just learning [after timeouts], how to draw up on the board situations, and then when the break came with the COVID situation, I went to Denver [for] several weeks and we dove into it for four or five hours a day,” Lue said. “He's really locked into drawing up plays, what plays to run, knowing the system, knowing the play calls, and he's done a tremendous job.

He's been a big influence on my game, and he's been just a great fit and a champion, great person to talk to and have as a resource,” George said. “He's been talking through a lot of me handling playing point and decision-making and tempo, pace, a lot of stuff from a point guard mindset and a point guard point of view, because I have been doing a lot of creating and ballhandling, and he's helping me through that. A lot of credit goes to him for my progression.”

frick it I’ll roll the dice.
hire spoon and a legit assistant and see what happens.

give zion what he wants (assuming that’s what it is)

can’t get any worse and it lessens the risk on zion not feeling the love. If it doesn’t work, he can take some of the blame
