We NEED another center

Especially if we are going to the playoffs, we need a good veteran presence at center in case Favors is not fully healthy during that stretch.
Maybe we could make a trade for Adams or Dedmon? We have a few pieces if they are willing to give them up for low.

Would be hard to match salary for Adams, and Dedmon is already a malcontent in Sacto, I wouldn't want him here on his inflated deal to have him complain about being behind Favors and Melli

Assets? If we're going to make a push in playoffs like we absolutely can, we could easily give them Moore, Miller, and a few picks or something to get close to salary wise and wouldn't be giving up much assets at all.

Someone threw out Miller + 2nd for Taj Gibson the other day. That seems like the kind of around the edges trade to make.

Taj Gibson would also be a nice veteran pickup to add to this team while giving up little to no assets. Would be a good move for playoffs.

They way we are shooting I don’t think we really need a stretch big unless it’s one that can d up like RoCo. Dedmon has been absolute trash with the Kings and Leonard is basically just melli. Taj doesn’t have to ever play the same time as Zion does but having 2 bruisers going at the opposing team for all 48 minutes is nice

Getting to the playoffs this year is gravy. Giving up assets for anything that isn’t in the long term plans is short sighted. We have a very young, explosive team. Let’s stay with that.

I'd rather have Zion at the 4 too, and I'm sure that Griffin and Gentry agree with us. But Zion can play the 5 if there's another day like today when two of our centers are hurt.
Favors + Hayes is a good rotation at center, and we have Okafor and Melli and Zion who can play there if needed. We're fine at that spot.
