For those wondering. Pelicans had a 9-22 record vs Eastern Conference teams.

https://statm.us/e/guYv9qVB1

Remember when people wanted to trade Zion for Bridges and Ball? Now all of a sudden they are not that good?

We traded our lottery pick to the Hawks A playoff team .LOL.

If you gonna talk shite about the East at least have something to back it up. Pelicans have nothing. Getting ready to market Zion for year 8 with a possible extension. How is that going? But we want to talk carp about teams that are in playoffs when we can’t do shite.

Hornets Made the playoffs Dell Demps?

“Pelicans Have Nothing”

-Jeremiah Fears and Derek Queen (Most likely All Rookie team)
-Yves and Karlo has clearly took a step forward
-Trey Murphy 22/5/5
-Dejounte 17/5/6
-Expiring Salary with Poole, Hawkins, Looney= $49 Million
-Saddiq Bey: Career highs across the board
-Giannis trade with MIL 27 1st (Pels get both picks if both picks are in Top 4)
- I completely agree with you Zion Extension (shouldn’t happen)

Both are coming off bench next season. So we traded a lottery pick for a guy that will sit behind Zion on depth chart. The other (Zion & Queen) experiment failed.

Dell Demps led the New Orleans Pelicans to the playoffs three times during his tenure as general manager, with the team advancing past the first round only once.

Also worth noting Dell Demps and Tim Connelly are in the TimberWolves front office now.

It’s year 2 for Fears and Queen. The Boards favorite team has 3 former Pels. this is year 7 for NAW and he’s just now breaking out. Dyson is in year 3. Both guys came off the bench. But hey improving is only noticed when they are on different teams.

Saddiq will be extended.

There are worse teams but they are all tanking and rebuilding. We are still very bad, even with a mostly healthy Zion, and not rebuilding either. We need one or two moves to work out for us and for Fears and Queen to make a leap.

DJM
Bey
Trey
Zion
[New Center who boards and defends but who do you have to give up?]

Fears
Queen
Karlo/Yves.

Not a ton of shooting or D, but shouldn’t this lineup at least be a watchable .500 team? Geez, it’s depressing.

At least we can still laugh at the Jazz and Wizards, right?

Well the Jazz traded for an all star this year, and have a top 5 pick this year.

Well the Wizards traded for two all stars this year, and have a top 5 pick this year.

At least they are excited about next season

Well when will have our list on coaching candidates? Dumars & Weaver have had since November to think about this! Sure did not take long for LSU to find their coaches. You think Dumars would want to get this thing rolling? Seems to be dragging his feet on this.

LSU spends more than Gayle on coaches.

I'm praying he doesn't make a change at HC, because if he does, his new HC will almost certainly be worse. It'll be Avery Johnson or Darvin Ham level bad.

Dumars and Weaver are that incompetent.

2017-2018 was the best team we ever had. Sure we had more regular season wins in 2008, but we lost to the Spurs, and we would have never beaten the Lakers or Celtics that year in a series.

2008 was considerably better imo.

I’d be surprised if we see anything confirmed before the end of the playoffs.

I’ll give Dumars one more yeah before I reach hopeless. I liked last year’s picks, and there’s pieces.

We?

You have got to be the most miserable person in the world. You hate everything NOLA/LA, but continue to post on all of their forums. Why not just avoid the things you dislike instead of regurgitating the same shite over and over about wanting to sell the teams. You bring nothing to any thread you post in except for constant complaining and negativity.

We lost to the Spurs, who were then eliminated by the Lakers. You really think we would have beaten Kobe and the big 3. The AD Boogie pairing was neck and neck with the championship winning Warriors. If Boogie doesnt get hurt we could have won that series. We were the second best team in the west that year. Closest we have ever come to a title. Not the case for the CP3 team. The lakers 4-1 ‘d the spurs the next series.

This is factually incorrect.

2008 was better.

We had zero chance against the Warriors, healthy or not.

The idea that a team with Anthony Davis as its best player beating the Warriors is silly.

And again, 2008 was factually closer to getting to the WCF.
