Trey needs to be a bigger part of the offense.

It’s fine for him to hang out on the perimeter and mostly catch and shoot with our big 3 healthy
With 2 of those 3 guys out we are hurting for offensive pop, and shot creation. It’s time for somebody to light a fire under Trey’s arse and get him to be more aggressive, with and WITHOUT the basketball

That is entirely up to him. He needs to drastically improve his off ball movement.

You’re right about lighting a fire under him. They aren’t running plays for Naji. He’s just seizing the moment. Trey could be doing the same thing. He seems to finish well enough through contact.

He doesn't like to shoot unless he's wide open from deep. He gets plenty of opportunities especially when he's 30 feet behind the basket. Hes not aggressive enough with his shot. If he has even a little daylight, he needs to launch it. His style of play is fine if both BI and Zion plays but without them, he needs to be a lot more assertive.

Yea Trey has shown plenty of ability to drive close outs and score in the paint. Just needs to be more aggressive at actually doing it

I agree his off ball movement has to improve but his gravity out there is impressive.

Naji is used to being the Guy
He basically was the number 1 option for the last 2 seasons in college
Trey has always been a role player
We need to run more sets for him like other teams do for their great shooters.

trey need to work on his ball handling skill..teams are running him off the 3pt line now and he cant get to the rim with ease because his handle is bad

Accidental downvote broski but entirely agree. I think he got enamored with the blow by poster dunk for a minute and fricked up a few of those being over aggressive and went haywire.
I felt like our downslide a few weeks ago coincided with his poor performance.
I love trigga and his game so much- he seems like he’ll be reliable , just gotta get him confident and consistent.

It is crazy that in a game without BI or Zion where he played 31 minutes, he was 7th in attempts. 
Hell, Jose had twice as many 3pt attempts as Trigga had shots

As much as trey has improved he's still lacking when it comes to contested shots around the rim.

The second half of this season will be a nice barometer . All good shooters in the nba can make the open shots . The great ones separate themselves by being able to knock them down and/or make plays when they are in the scouting report . Trey is in the scouting report .
