Trey is going to be that JV kid on scout team who embarrasses the varsity players in scrimmages

Trey is my favorite pelican! I’m glad to see him getting some run.

Hard not to root for Trey. Kid just has it all put together in every aspect of the game. Going to be a joy to watch his growth again into the 3rd year.

No offense to some of those guys but he’s better than half the “national team”.

Half may be an understatement. I see 4 guys that are clear cut better than him (BI, Ant, JJJ, and Bridges). He is equally as good or better than the rest.

He's definitely not better than Bridges or Brunson or Haliburton. Banchero was just a rookie, but his ceiling is much higher than Trey as well, so I could see thinking he's better than Trey, as he'll likely be better this coming season.
Brunson - 24 & 6
Bridges - 26ppg on .607 TS%
Haliburton - 21 & 10 assists

You must exhaust your wife or boyfriend. Someone could say the sky is blue and you’d argue about it

Who hurt you?
You'll be ok, I promise.
You literally started a topic within a thread then freaked out when someone dared to respond to the topic you created. This shite is hilarious.

Love Trey but paolo is better than him. So is Halliburton.

Dude simply politely pointed out Haliburton and Brunson are better than Trey Murphy, supported it with stats, and you turned it into a thing.
What are you on bro? Lol
We all love Trey here, but occasional realism should be welcomed on this board.

Nah, I’m laughing because it’s really splitting hairs. I don’t care. Shel just likes to argue with people

You're not new to message boards, they quite literally exist in part for people to debate topics. I'll never get why people flip out when someone then debates a topic.
I'll stay on brand lol... It's sure as shite not "splitting hairs" on whether Trey is better than Brunson or Haliburton or Bridges at this time. Small sample size but Bridges just played 27 games in Brooklyn that are arguably, or splitting hairs if you will, better than any 27 game stretch we've ever seen from Ingram, if you factor in how much better he is defensively and his shooting efficiency being better than any BI stretch for that length.

I feel like Trey is one of the most politically savvy players in the league. I feel he has gotten a ton of exposure for being on a small market team and not being a clear starter. I don’t know what he or his agent did to get him behind a microphone for interviewing, but that was a super smart business move.
Maybe that is just a homer perspective though.
I also wish we could have gotten Naz Reid.

So making a sweeping generalization is better than splitting hairs? Being the guy that likes to argue is worse than being the guy that exaggerates everything and speaks in hyperbole?
