Yes, they had multiple ties that got them to 7 selections which you can see on the blown up version of the image.

Davion Mitchell and Payton Pritchard in the backcourt and Jalen Johnson, Trey Murphy, and Jalen Smith in the front court.

Averaged 8 made shots on 19 attempts. 0.5 assist to turnover ratio.

Honestly it’s stupid that Desmond Bane isnt on the list, he was the best player in summer league

We really have been due to draft one of those players that people look back and wonder why so many teams passed on him. We are normally one or two picks away from those players.

Cue the Christian Wood guy. We haven't seen that brought up in a while. It's kind of due.

Man that summer league and preseason had us all so jacked. Then he came out in that opener against Toronto and played like shite and seemed to lose all confidence. Glad he's found his way again and hope it continues into this season.

With all the 2nds and future picks we had I wish we could have taken Murphy and then jumped back in to get Thomas too. He’d be that scoring threat off the bench that’s perfect to play with Zion because he can shoot. Imagine when Zion is on the floor with some bench guys and having TM3 and Cam Thomas as 2 options to kick the ball out to.

Please don’t get me started.

frick it.

What If I Told You, a Big 3 of Collin Sexton, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson would have won multiple NBA Championships?

I need to heal. Spicy out.

None of those 3 guys have ever played on a team with a winning record, much less made the playoffs.

Just several months ago the same could have been said about Trae Young and Devin Booker.

In fact, Back when the Hawks were still toiling early last year, I suggested a Big 3 of Trae, Ingram, and Zion and basically got laughed out of here.

Next thing you know, Trae young is potentially a freak sprained ankle away from carrying the Hawks to the finals with John Collins as his best running mate.

3 is the magic number. Especially if you combine 3 top 20 pure scorers in the league together. You are not getting stopped offensively. And Sexton’s trade value is low relative to other star guards, so we would’ve still been able to have solid complimentary depth around those 3.

But I digress.

I am not going to debate it too much. You have a great point. But we had a "big 3", with Holiday, Ingram and Zion. It didn't win for whatever reason.

I'm not sold on the pairing of Ingram and Zion together. I don't know why, but it's just not paying off like it should be. I don't know what particular player, system or circumstances are going to make them work. I'm pretty sure it's not Colin Sexton though..

I dunno if this could possibly have had anything to do with that, but it seems like Zion missed some games that year.
