The problem is that he's not at all trying to change his game.

One of the first games after the team meeting he seemed to almost be forcing 3s. The game against the Spurs he only had 4 midrange shots out of 14, the rest were paint or 3. That's what I see as "trying". The fact that he has to try though is the problem. Habits can change, but he has to consistently work on it, and he hasn't been consistent.

When do you pull the plug though? I think if BI were on the open market, someone would give him a max, so I don't think you have to make a trade at the deadline, but you probably get more at the deadline than doing a S&T to another team this summer.

But those are single examples. In other games, it would then show he's not "trying" and on the whole for the entire season, which is all that matters, he's not expanding his game at all. He's actually going to the midrange even more.

No later than this offseason imo.

Detroit, Orlando, Chicago, Charlotte, Brooklyn, Washington, Portland, Atlanta, Utah, Indiana, etc would all consider it.

I've been in the trade BI camp and that will not change. Allocating that kind of money will prove to be a huge mistake imo.

It's been a weird two weeks of Ingram.

He shows he can stretch the floor then goes away from it because we're getting him easier middies.

He hasn't had to work nearly as hard for his shots at that range because we're able to hit him at the ft line and he can rise and make it. That area is almost like a layup for him.

He needs to be a little more selfish in spots imo. When zion goes out and it's just him he needs to take those 3s, make teams freak out early on it and it'll open so many lanes for him to drive.

1) Trey is my favorite player so I would love this.

2) Trey has to show that he can create offense for himself before he can be the franchise guy. Sure he can hit 3s but can he do it if hes never left open? Can he dribble and create space on a regular basis when drawing the other team's best defender?
