The Lakers are trading Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets for Davon Reed and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Hasn’t he been one of their best players so far?

Once KD was dealt to the Suns, it felt like standing pat may be the most likely route unfortunately.

And probably the smartest at this point. I'm looking at Bridges as the only known remaining move that I would want to target

I get that feeling too. They might make a small move here and there to shore up some deficiencies but I would be surprised if they did anything major. I think the organization would be happy getting into the playoffs as a top 6 seed and getting to the second round this year.

the asking price is too much.

the one guy we were being linked with just got drastically more expensive to acquire, since he's the best available via trade now...

We have so much youth and lack of time together for the big 3 that it's not a bad idea to play it out and see what to do for next year which was always the year we felt best about.

They must have another moved lined up if they traded a big for a SG that's a journeyman who's barely earned minutes in 4 years in the league.

We already know what we need tho. Perimeter shooting and rim protection. That’s not changing even if we’re fully healthy.

Agreed. And I doubt Claxton and Bridges get cheaper either

Same for OG if that’s the move we want to make.

Confirming @JakeLFischer’s report that the Pistons and Warriors are having discussions surrounding Saddiq Bey and James Wiseman. Sounds like it’s far from a done deal, however.
