They solved their shooting issue and frontcourt issues. They are going to be tough as long as James and Davis are healthy enough to play.

One of the Lakers biggest problems is competent depth. Their depth flat out stinks.
This gets them A LOT better in that category. They also lack shooting, and Beasley gives them that.
And Vanderbilt gives them another competent big and rim protection.
This makes them better.

Law of Diminishing returns gotta hit us in the face the longer we hold onto the Laker picks.

This changes nothing. Lakers go as far as LeGM and AD take them. Which is back into the lottery.

I wish. But in a shallow West this puts them into top 10 rather easily.

This gets them into the play in tournament, and I promise you if Lebron gets into the play-in, he’s NOT losing

I’m not happy that Ainge caved, but everyone saying sell the picks now forgets 2 things. 1) we already got our extra payoff with #8 last year. And 2) we still need to keep drafting cheap depth. #15 might not be Wembenyama, but we picked Trey at #17.

how the frick did they trade Russ, who by all accounts is complete garbage, and basically a likely late first and get 3 super valuable NBA players?
I don’t get why we couldn’t have gotten Vanderbilt and Beasley for giving up a much better package without giving up anything we really care about.

Lakers made out like bandits there. Would have loved a Vanderbilt/Besley for Jaxon/Graham/pick

It’s more God bless whatever team plays them to get a call against LeBron.

You giving up a future top 4 protected pick to get them? Because that was what it cost them.

I would’ve done that and not even took any picks back from them, or fought for any protections
