Well i stand corrected on that.

Ingram and Graham with 3 1sts to Nets, KD and Cam to Pels

Silver should be approving it any minute now

Here's an interesting one from David Fisher:

This solves a lot of problems. You get your athletic rim running, rim protector in Claxton, add shooting in Curry, and time shift to a more contention ready Ingram with KD.

We still keep coming back to the same structural problem with this roster though. Either Trey needs to get a lot better on defense, Dyson/Herb need to get a lot better on offense, or one of Zion/Center needs to have perimeter gravity.

Aside from the whole KD is never coming here, this would be a fantastic trade for us.

Though I don't think the Nets would really move Claxton, I don't see the motivation. Even if you move Kyrie & KD, I'd think they would still be better off keeping that young, very promising piece.

And it won't matter if they don't because Zion/KD will destroy everyone. It would instantly be the best 1/2 combo in the league.

Maybe in league history if they could stay right for 3-4 seasons

No worries. Only reason I know is because I listen to a stupid amount of podcasts and they talked about it a bunch at the time. Really weird rule in the first place and even stranger that it doesn’t apply lol.

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Western Conf champs with a healthy Zion.

I like that trade but feel like we’d have to give up more if Claxton is involved. Either another young player or pick

Fisher said he'd give up a 5th pick if he had to and you kind of have to do that trade. It makes you an instant contender, so you wouldn't quibble over another 1st.

Is that how Minnesota got where they are? Did they really think Gobert made them instant contenders? It has to be what they thought but I think everyone saw that wasn't true.

They'd want Dyson/Trey for sure. Plus all the picks.

Like almost ALL the picks.

Cause keeping in mind BI is probably at his lowest value since coming here with the ongoing injuries and drop in recent performance.

Mavs GM Nico Harrison, a former Nike executive, and coach Jason Kidd have longstanding relationships with Kyrie Irving. Dallas desperately needs co-star alongside Luka Doncic.

Big questions: 1) How much are Mavs willing to give up? 2) Would they make long-term commitment? twitter.com/wojespn/status…

Speaking of long term commitment, that's where this allegedly came from. According to Shams in this video clip, the Nets offered an extension that wasn't fully guaranteed which Kyrie didn't appreciate. LINK

I don't know how anyone can read his antics and then read entitled shite like this that now results in him throwing a public hissy fit and still go "yep, lets get involved in that drama, and PAY for the privilege!"

Kyrie makes Dennis Rodman and Lamar Odom look like stable individuals.

Whenever someone says “it isn’t about money”, almost 99% of the time it is exactly about money.

Who’s giving up more than that? Name a team that can beat that trade

On NBA radio this morning they had an interesting Kyrie trade that i think would make Brooklyn better.

Lakers: Kyrie
Nets: FVV, Trent Jr
Raps: Westbrook and both Laker picks

Don't see why Raptors would to that for 2 picks 4-6 years down the road.
